  • Beat me by few seconds. Great deal!

    • Is that you Mrs Muzeeb?

      • +1

        Early bird gives the worms!

  • That's cheap

    • +6

Once upon a time this used to be $129. You can check the price history on Pricehipster https://pricehipster.com/product/FGbaYFEcd9lDeVCUSvlGjQ~HJ1K…

    • That's crazy cheap given that it comes with all those attachments, deal of the year at 1/3 of the price of the Ozito let alone the other brands. Shame it doesn't have the power, otherwise this is a steal! I'd rather buy the Ozito 2030PSI one for $99 and then buy the attachments making it about $129-$144 depending on what you want.

  • -1

Not the best handle trigger sore hand in a few minutes.

    • +14

Need to work on that grip strength.

    • Wrap some elastic bands around it will help

    • wrap a pool noodle around it :)

    • Grabbed one and used for 5 hours yesterday, with no issue. Maybe yours had an extra stiff spring?

  • Do I need any special hose to connecting this thing to house hose?

    • +2

It should be compatible. Just remove the nozzle and you should be able to plug it straight into the washer.

    • +2

No, standard hose. Plus you even get provide with hose connectors if required

  • Do these pull water through the tap or are they limited by local water pressure?

    • +3

Local water pressure, but these things are high pressure oitput, low volume input.
Per the specs, they use 6.5L per minute, which is about 2/3 the volume of a water saver shower (which are usually 9L /minute).

      • +4

This is true, but the 6.5lt flow is very poor for any pressure cleaner. The more water, the better clean it will do.
As i've explained in previous post comment, you can have a 2000psi pressure unit that has a 1lt flow = comes out a very fine mist. Use a 2000psi with a flow of 9lt/pm and it will remove any dirt from anything.
        Higher flow, the better.
For the price though, go for it. But don't expect top-notch results.

        • +1

Yep 7L mininum will do thr job especially for foam cannons.

          • +1

@Jasonio: If 7L/min will do the job for foam cannons, and this is 6.5L/min then does the 0.5L make all that difference?

            • @ccrap: If its atleast 7L you will get much more usable foam from the cannon.

    • +19

      That's nearly 30% off!

    • +15

Yet the community goes nuts over $3 or 10%?

      • +10

I always found this weird too. It's $3 damnit - look under your couch

        • +6

Thanks, found a $3 coin under my couch. It looks weird, though.

  • Is this good for car washes or would I be better off with the karcher? Looking to use the Bowden snow job, rinsing and cleaning up the wheels

    • +1

You can make the snow cannons fit the Ryobi, just need to get the right additional adapter's.

I'd also suggest replacing the spray head if you're going to use it for any cleaning. The variable head on the Ryobi I have is terrible (adjust on its own, not consistent etc), so replaced it with quick fit connector allowing me to use fixed size spray heads with it.

      • Is it still worth getting this and then all the adapters, rather than just going for something like the Karcher?

        • +1

I'd get a quick fit adapted regardless of pressure washer now that I've used one.

But a Bowden adapted to fit these are like $10.

          • @SBOB: awesome thanks!

            • +2

@iMacca: Pretty sure the Ryobi brass adapter comes in the box for the bowdens snow cannon.

Edit: looks like I was wrong again…

Includes two adapters to fit Karcher K series and Gerni/ Kew/ Alto/ Stihl/ Nilfisk Pro pressure washers

          • +1

@SBOB: Are you please able to share which one would connect to this?

Apparently, there are two adapters which fit ryobi - https://www.bowdensown.com.au/snow-blow-cannon-adapters

            • +1

@Pudina Chutney: I'd guess adapter 9 but should be pretty easy to sanity check by visually comparing or measuring the one the handle comes with.

I modified by Ryobi to use a quick connect so I use the quick connect bowdens adapter

      • +1

Do you mind sharing where you got your quick fit connector and fixed size spray heads from? Thanks!

    • Does anyone know how well the included soap bottle works vs. something like the Bowden Snow Job?

      • +1

The included bottle is quite watery/soapy - works fine for cleaning windows, and on cars if you want to soap it up before handwashing.. just don't expect thicker foam? (as you can't control the water/soap mix)
I purchased a cheap foam cannon on aliexpress and its been a worthwhile upgrade.

Will still use the soap bottle for windows with added glass cleaner. Hope this helps!

        • +1

All I needed to know - thank you!

    • The pressure and flow is acceptable for cars that aren't too dirty or you have the time to work on it for a bit longer

Biggest issue you face with cheap pressure washers on cars is the hose is way too short and you need to move the washer all the time. You need at least a 10m hose and ideally 15m to be able to put the machine down and freely walk around with the hose

  • For 50 bucks this seems like great value.
Can anyone vouch for it ?
… Or direct me in another direction?

    • +5

its cheap…but be prepared to have to take it back when it stops working
bunnings tool shop staff reckon these are terrible & get returned a lot….ymmv

      • +2

        yeah definitely photo the receipt

        • There's an app for bunnings, you can use it to search item location and store the receipt.

          • +1

@Richardc: You just scan the QR code on the app (before paying).
            It will:
            • Scan your linked flybuys account.
            • Save a digital receipt.

            Officeworks also has something similar.

      • +2

I wonder how much of that is people running it without properly running water through the system first, and thus burning out the motor.

    • Don't buy one of these if you are intending to clean large expanses of concrete or tiles.

      • +1

how large is considered large? I have about 25sqm of concrete to clean.
        Thanks

      • What is the problem, it is nnot ergonomic or does the motor overheat or what?

  • +6

    Thanks Aldi

  • Random question, would anyone know where I could get a connector for this pressure washer and the below?

    https://www.repco.com.au/car-care-panel/car-care-accessories…

    • Following.. would like to know of a foam canon to get with this potentially

    • I just got the Ozito 2050W one and this was the best deal i could find. It works absolutely amazing too!
      https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/promotion?id=24WK07_06

Not sure if it has the correct adaptor for Ryobi, but sometimes its easier to get a new spray gun with quick attach fittings instead of trying to get the adaptor to fit your current gun

      • +1

I had one of those and thought it was pretty poor and returned it. My older cheaper Gernie with less PSI does a better job on the driveway!

        • Same here, my cheap gerni 120.4pc still stands strong (runtime is much longer than those made of plastic - I believe that was the reason I chose Gerni over other brands back then).

    • Yes, scroll up this thread - already covered in great detail !

  • +2

    Too weak

    • +1

It's a tiny piss weak sprayer good for doing the dishes outside after a gathering.

      • +3

Are your dishes made from titanium?

  • i guess only good for washing stuff? not good for cleaning the concrete etc?

  • +2

I had an Ozito one and it's not really that great. Starts spinning itself without power after use

    Hopefully this is better

  • Will this work on cleaning off the dirt on my tiles in the backyard?

  • Hmmm should I go full OzB and return and rebuy…

    • Ozito has slightly higher pressure and flow, but is currently double the price.

    • I have one of these, it seems to do a pretty good job for what i've used it for, but cheaper is cheaper so up to you i guess

      • +2

What job ? "The job" is the important information here .
The job could be 'taking a morning shower'

        • +1

Spraying things with high velocity water 😅

You'd have to be some kind of moron to try and shower with it, no? 😜

I've used it for cleaning cars, paths, driveways, etc… Not sure what else you do with these things 🤷

    • Had a model before that the unit keeps spinning without pressing anything to trigger. inside it’s like the motor gonna explode. About 12 months in I couldn’t find the receipt else I would like to get it replaced. Bad quality

    • Got Ryoni one..thanks

  • -1

Great price but I'd spend a bit more and get a Gerni 1810psi

    • +4

Gerni is over three times more expensive, that's barely a bit more lol

  • +1

    Good reviews…

Deez nuts 5 out of 5 stars.

"Amazing when I had to clean my car so I started a business in my neighbourhood that makes 20 bucks per hour"

    • Wow, what a tool!
20 bucks per hour + 2 bucks gst?
      (bucks subject to change)

  • Very cheap, already have the ozito, so far OK.

  • Is this better than my thumb over the garden hose pressure?

    • -1

I would stick with your thumb. Spend the $50 on highly volatile Crypto.

      • +1

my thumb over the garden hose pressure?

With pressure washer and your thumb will be even better XD

  • +1

Bought this earlier for $69. Good for basic, light cleaning jobs - I wash my driveway and car with it. Car needs a good scrub irrespective while loose dirt on the driveway is easy to wash away

    • while loose dirt on the driveway is easy to wash away

Just washed my driveway yesterday, very depends on how dirty your driveway, I have to use 30 secs spray + hours to clean it XD

  • +1

Bunnings possibly price-matching ALDI upcoming special buy which has a smaller motor and psi.

  • +1

    Any warranty for this one?

    • From Bunnings, so what do you think?

      • Bunnings are usually decent?

        • Yes, within warranty, just take it back to Bunnings.

    • Only mention of 'warranty' in the manual is saying using non genuine parts voids it.
None of the pics show the box, maybe it's written on there

      • +1

Box says 4 year replacement warranty

  • +3

Got it last time ($69) and happy with it overall
Used to wash car etc - no issues

  • I had to immediately return Ryobi 18V 600PSI EZclean washer, it was a full joke. This one is of 1450PSI, so is it 1/2.41 joke or what?
