                    • @nitens: I’ve bought a few remastered, and played ps4 titles with ps5 updates, all were well worth it for me, with massive performance improvements in loading and fps, even using the ps ui to start parties etc was such a pain on ps4, but very fast and fluid on ps5. The SSD makes such a huge difference imo.

@onlinepred: TLOU I play on PC, and same for Death Stranding, the rest I didn't care enough about, mostly over hyped titles IMO, but each to their own I guess 😁 I made an educated decision choosing my console, and Xbox has a better ecosystem like I mentioned above. no issues starting a game on PC as I have tons of space there, or just trying it using cloud gaming (comes with Xbox pass), then transitioning to console to play it properly on a big TV, and when I go on business trip, continuing seamlessly on cloud gaming wherever I go

PS has got nothing on this, except the named couple exclusive titles for primary school dropouts

@shabaka: lol are you 12? What kind of an argument is that? You don’t need to justify your poor financial decisions to me.

                • @shabaka: Agree.
Sony’s UI looks depressing AF and is a complete mess. MS on the other hand chose to play it safe and kept true to its roots.

    • Agree.
The only good thing about the PS5 are the games.
The reality is, no one cares about this console anymore now that the hype is over.

      • exactly. PS exclusive titles are mostly targeted to Japanese primary school dropouts, I don't see anything there worth buying into the system.

if even Microsoft did their console better, what does it say about Sony's product design lol

The only good thing about the PS5 are the games.

I mean yeah… why else would you buy a gaming console lmao

        • Oh, I don’t know…Performance? Graphics? User Experience? User Interface? Need I go on? 😂

          • @Maths Debater: You but a gaming console for its operating system over its games? Performance and graphics are basically the same. Ps5 has the superior storage and hence it’s load times are faster generally.
I guess if all you do is look at the OS rather than play games, your argument makes sense?

    Will wait for Black Friday~

    • Same, what price do you reckon they will be?

      • +2

        Cheaper than this.
It seems Sony has produced a lot more consoles than demand requires and they are desperately trying to move them all whereas MS didn’t have this problem.

They are trying to reach their 25 million units shipped for the Fiscal Year 2023 (March 2023 to March 2024), if they reach the number, it would be a record for any Playstation console.

          • @kazuyamishima: Plus rumors the slim and pro erwion is coming soon, probably trying to get rid all the shelf stocks.

Why buy the inferior console, wait for PS5 pro unless you're really hanging to play something on PS5
