  For those who are wondering how to get the discount:
  1) First Login or Join Ozbargain
  2) Goto : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/773939 and look for the latest comment to Grab the latest code from the comments.
  3) Goto https://store.google.com/config/pixel_6a and add item to cart and apply the promo code to your google cart.

    My son was in the same boat, he ended up buying a Poco F5 at $51x.
    And my wife just bought a Pixel 6a at $339

      Yeah that $500 threshold was just a bridge too far. F5 at $400 would have been no brainer.

  Had issues with dropping network signal straight out of the box. Did trouble shooting for 3 hours and battery went from 100% to 65% - not playing video or anything intense. Imagine what the battery would be like in 2-3 years.

  No thanks - returning to Google.

    May I ask how was the return process? I understand google uses Toll as their courier company. Toll does pickup from customer's address. Are you comfortable handing over security form with your ID details on to the pickup driver?

    I might have to return mine.

  Pixel 7 Google store price is $699, so I guess this offer expired? Or do you get $100 off with coupons? $599 doesn't add up for 10% discount

    Not expired, the StudentBeans code discount the RRP price, hence at cart it will show as $599.10

    $699 less 10% discount from RRP ($99.10) = $599.10

  This is the first phone I've returned. Can't get the colour balance right, can't even change the damned icons to be anything but circles! Wife was extremely unhappy.
