Back with another GaN charger deal and one I've picked up recently so I can vouch for the quality. The charger itself has a US plug with travel adapters for AU (with insulated pins), EU, KR and the UK making it suitable for world wide use.

The USB-C port has Power Delivery with PPS fast charging and can deliver up to 67W, while the USB-A port can deliver up to 45W max. When both ports are used it's 45W + 10.5W max.

AU plug brings this to $56

  • This is too cheap. Can it cause fire?

You can get it for around US$24 here instead if paying more makes you feel better.

  • Great thanks OP, I've bought one of each colour.

  • what happens if the plug breaks? can you charge this via a usb-c/a cord through an outlet like most other powerbanks

    • +1

This is a charger not a powerbank

      • ah my bad looks like a powerbank

  • Sorry, the page you requested can not be found:(

Back with another GaN charger deal and one I've picked up recently so I can vouch for the quality.

Is it really good quality ? aka can sustain the 65 W for a long time (let's say even 60 W for like 1 hr) ? to charge laptops ?
Asking because some reviews say doesnt last more than 20W+ for very short time, (and they are quite recent reviews too). Some reviews say it can only charge phone, not laptops/macbooks. (they typically demand 45W + power, so 60W + should be easily enough to charge i.e. if the charger can actually deliver that for charging duration)

Just because it is aliexpress quality is little difficult to trust without genuine reviews, or good brand reputation.

It's managed to charge my laptop for extended periods. I haven't tested the output for that whole time however.

any chance you got a smart plug with a power meter ? like the kogan smart power board ? or some other smart plug that can give you live energy consumption reading? even for a few minutes roughly? when you plug into laptop does it stay around 60W ? or go down quickly ?

Sorry to be asking this, I just want to know if it is capable enough to replace like an apple macbook charger (which may heat up, but at least deliver power sustainably to charge laptop at max rate (in my case usually around the 50-70W mark anyway)

        • Many laptops need 65w as a minimum, and if this dipped below that the laptop would have cracled a wobbly and told them off.

  • Chargers like this make me wish we had shoddy electrical standards which allowed for straight plugs. Convenience > safety.

You think this one for $24-25 from amazon is a better choice ? Amazon CS > Aliexpress CS.

  • This design… I almost wanted to ask how many mAh

It claims to be UL-certified as per the review pic but none was found on UL database with search keywords for model (CH021), trade name (ASOMETECH), or Chinese company name (Shenzhen Yixie Technology Co., Ltd.). If the mark is not authentic, can we trust their claimed specs?

    • I agree that this looks bogus. Additionally, from UL's website normally the mark has the serial number of the listing next to it.

    • I don't think that database is correct. I know heaps of brands with proper UL certification and none of them show. Qualcomm required it for their QC2 and QC3 chargers. Searching for any of those brands and models have 0 results.

Manufacturer is shenzhen fuhaoxuan technology co. ltd btw

      • My search for models with UL mark by reputable brands has always returned records, like Huaweii.
No results with shenzhen fuhaoxuan too. It’s a public database by the UL lab to be searched by consumers so can’t miss what’s been registered.

  • Righto

  • Is there a way to setup alerts or track pricing like camelcamelcamel on aliexpress? I had no idea I wanted one of these, until just now!
