    I thought my Tiger 10 cup was pretty big and made a very appreciable amount of rice. I just looked it up and it is only 1.8L - it got nothing on this 3L cooker in terms of size!

    Not sure about this model but a good rice cooker is worth the investment.
    Got a cuckoo rice cooker from the previous deal, and am astounded by how even it cooks and how easy it cleans. Completely changes the experience.

    Labelling on product is not in English, by the looks of it, it's only available in Mandarin.

    I see some people print off labels and stick them over the top.

    I have this. I got this from ebay fot 80 bucks. Been using for 2 yrs now. Would highly recommend for 1-3 people. Easy to use. ( Adter you figure out the keys). For regular rice cooking you only need the two keys on the right.

      Which size did you get for 1-3 people? 3L or the 4L?

        I'm using a 4L, same series. It's great, but also quite huge compared to the normal sized rice cooker in stores. I think stmgr means the 3L model for 1-3 people. 3L model has a capacity of 1-5 cups, while 4L model is 2-8 cups capacity. 5L will be even bigger. Don't buy too large as there's a minimum capacity you'll have to cook at a time.

        Be noted like what snuke said it has chinese labelling, and the manual is in chinese, too. Not a problem for me but might be a problem for others since there are quite a few features on it.

        Also it's a conventional rice cooker, not the more expensive induction model.
