let my son play it who had never seen star wars before (6 y/o)… he never looked back.
My kids been playing Lego games on ps4, and loves them. They’re easy enough where you can just do anything, but also there’s a lot of side challenges to do which is quite time consuming if that’s their thing

I think there's quite a lot to do. Assuming they can handle the controls, I think they'll enjoy running around destroying items to collecting studs. There's some platforming and puzzles as well but I don't think it's overly hard.
You can play with them as well.
My 4 year old loves it also try the Batman games
