I'm having the shitest time with kingroon, ordered on aliexpress, they say it's been delivered but I don't have it… They told me to contact delivery company direct for assistance so I explained that they are the person who needs to contact them and they send me to contact delivery company with begging faces…

Same company? If so I wouldn't give you $10 for the filament… Think I'm just gonna PayPal and do a different brand at this rate..

    • it's Kingroon official website, not aliexpress stores:(

      • So different company or different shop front? I'll get the neg retracted if different company

Store is Kingroon 3d printer store

Part that's really annoying me is that I can't even use my new printer till I source filament and I've spent the $140 so another 2 weeks till payday so I can use it 😐

        • Official store uses different logistics from AliExpress, and different warehouse stocks

          • @Professionaldreamer: Well I'll let you know how I go, I've calmed alot from earlier today.. hasn't been a good first experience for buying filament, I was considering also getting pla but might reconsider atm 😂

    • I ordered my last batch from the Kingroon AliExpress store and it arrived in about 3 days. I had to do a double take as I'm used to AliExpress being a 2 week wait, but it was sent from a local warehouse.

  • Anyone tried this PETG? $14 doesn't seem cheap for 10kg bulk buy

$139 is definitely not the lowest. If you don’t mind limited colours, you can get 10kg for ~$115 delivered on Sunlu PETG: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/304683949246

Are black, white and grey even colours at all?

        • The classic "bulk PLA colours, PETG available too", then you click on it and they have only black PETG.

    • It's my new go-to filament. Prints nicely and cheaper than PLA, what's not to like.

I already have about 12kg in storage from a recent order, bit I only have two colours. Tempted to buy a colour mix, but I have not much space to store it!

    • Works really well. Not sure if poor handling by shipping company or poor packing from warehouse, but some of my rolls needed drying after I left them (in their vacuum sealed with dessicant plastic packaging) for a month.

Prints flawlessly using my existing PETG profiles. Great selection of colours, though they're a bit darker than I was expecting (but I didn't really look at the photos)

    • Delayed followup as I hadn't printed till now.

Still dialing it in but it seems decent enough. Lot I ordered was mixed colours, though I did notice several boxes were pla boxes even though the spools were labelled PETG (They are PETG, just thought Id mention it).

I know I am a bit old school now since I got my Bambu printer.
I have been printing with a lot of cheap ABS materials around the same price delivered from eBay Sunlu material.
Sunlu ABS material works pretty well with enclosed 3D Printers.
