  • Same price as Costco

  • What do you put in a Smoothie?

    • +2

Tofu, frozen bananas, berries, and mango, protein powder, sugar free chocolate powder, ice, yogurt, and enough soy milk to get it into a thick sludge. That'll fill a hole.

      • +2

Tofu, did you boil cook it first? What kind?

        • Raw tofu, just put it in the blender. Any will do.

          • @AustriaBargain: Wow… thanks.. i always thought we have to boil or fry those tofu from asian groceries

      • +11

did you just turn tofu back to soybean milk?

Rather get a electric one with multiple cups than a single cup version

    • +9

Is this not electric? Does this require some manual blending with like crank handle?

      • This is electric, but portable.

    Capacity: N/A

What is the volume of liquid that these can hold in the cups?

  • +5

Its overpriced, I have this and the true value is around $20 in Kmart.
    its not very good.

    • +2

Yes, you are right. It's junk, can't even blend frozen fruit properly. It's too weak.

      • The NutriBullet GO Cordless Blender features a 70-watt motor.
Yes 70W. As powerful as a vibrator.
Does not get even close to the basic 600W nutribullet

        • +3

Maybe as powerful as your vibrator, mine on the other hand is at least 230W

I don't get it why do you need a portable blender? If you're going to make smoothie and juice why not just blend it before you go takes like 5 seconds on the normal nutribullet.

    • Im also confused, because a lot of the things you would put into a smoothie require refridgeration. So if your going camping for example, and want to scare the @(#& out of the wildlife every morning… then wont you need a power supply in your car for your portable fridge anyway? And if you have a power supply why cant you use that for any blender? Please enlighten me, because i kind of want to buy this.

    • I think there are some use cases like no power camping or picnics where you need a blender for a meal you're making on the spot

      • +2

All those times I went to the bush thinking I wish I had a blender!

      Hyper decanting wine when camping?
      Goon bag + blender

I agree this unit is overpriced for its limited function. I used a KMart (approx $20 at the time) one for about a year for mixing protein shakes and was excellent! When it died I tried this Nutribullet GO unit at my friends place and was less than impressed for the price paid. I ended up getting a VOLTRX Gallium unit which proved to be fantastic at the simple task of mixing protein shakes… probably not good at blending frozen fruit or the like, however but great for what I needed.

If anyone is interested in the VOLTRX Gallium for simple protein shakes I recommend going directly to VOLTRX rather than Amazon. Its cheaper ($19.99USD or about $31AUD) with free shipping in Australia. https://www.voltrx.com/product/voltrx-vortexboost-electric-s…

    • Are you a body builder? How often do you need to drink the shakes? Is this easier than carrying premixed shakes?

  • +2

    have one…
its junk… its too small and the blades arent blending much…

  • It sounds from the comments that it is more of a mixer than a blender?

  • +1

is it glass or plastic cup?

    • +1

      Plastic

IS IT GOOD FOR DOING ICE?

  • wattage?
