Saw this pop up on my amazon feed. Surely OzB community are partial to fried food…

The real fried food with only half the oil
RotoFry is the exclusive De’Longhi technology for a perfectly crispy fried food using less - 50% oil compared to traditional fryers.

Thanks to the angled rotating basket, the food is cyclically immersed in and out of the oil for crispier and tastier results, with both fresh and frozen foods. No longer deal with messy hot oil, thanks to the Easy Clean oil draining system and keep the odours and oil vapours away thanks to the anti-odour filter.

Don't worry about over-frying food, just set the temperature and cooking time and the alarm will remind you to check the food; monitor the cooking process safely thanks to the viewing window.

Happy frying y'all

  • I was searching for deep fryer the other day and saw this deal too, I believe it's been lower according to 3cml

  • So many frying appliances, so little bench space.

Does this compliment or retire the air fryer?

  • +1

Probably just better off buying a regular deep fryer? I have been using an air fryer for years but I am considering getting a regular deep fryer again.

yeah both are good, an air fryer is a great oven and definitely has its place, but it definitely is not a fryer, both are good and have their uses

  • Have one , does a decent job whilst only using about a little of oil.
Rarely use it though. It has a little tray that rotates and dunks your food in the oil.
    Use mine for Japanese doughnuts.
When I do use it I try anything else I have in freezer to cook as I only use it a few times a year. It's not so easy to drain out the oil.If you do purchase one use a thermometer as it's dial not so accurate.
