Do you think it's better than other prams from other brands at this price point?
Yup, I've tried plenty of the prams at this price point.
If you want "sturdy", "premium" then this is built like a tank. However the pitfall of being so "sturdy" is that it is heavier than other prams. The shopping basket below quite large, and unlike other brands, doesn't have a structural truss (rod) running through the middle of the basket, so you can fit bigger bags in there.
The most popular ones in this price range are as below:
- Uppababy Vista - I found this although lighter, but definitely not as sturdy.
- Bugaboo Fox - I found all the bugaboo's aren't as high quality as they used to be before they became big, for the price of a bugaboo i would not buy it at all.
- Stokke Xplory - Hell no, Looks futuristic, great marketing, Visual Design amazing, Practical Design horrible. Practically 0 shopping basket space
- Silver Cross Pioneer - Similar weight to iCandy Peach but i felt that the peach was more sturdy and handed better.
- Babyzen Yoyo2 (Not in price range ~$700 but it is the rolls royce of compact prams) - I have one of these, but only use it for Travelling. Only buy if you have back problems or cannot handle the weight of a regular full size pram. Definitely not as comfortable also for the baby. The 2020 Peach is also the last generation of the current iCandy Peach, and you are likely wondering what are the differences.
2020 Peach was a major rehaul of the popular iCandy Peach, so you are getting almost 95% of the same as the current icandy peach. The current iCandy peach the only real functional upgrade was the inbuilt kickboard for another kid to stand behind the pram. Where as the 2020 Peach this was an addon ($~200). Otherwise practically everything is the same.
My experience was good.
Price - Same opinion on the price, but then we planned to use it over 2 kids.
Purchase model - 2014/2013
Number of Kids - 3 (too many)Uses
- Single carry 2014 to 2016
- Double carry, using the attachments. (toddlers) 2016 to 2021.Last used in 2021, wife's mum left the pram at the shops. We could have sold it or passed it to family given its condition.
The price of prams these days is ridiculous.
anything way above the $1k is a rip off. Like this one. plenty of great prams in the $1k range.
There is a Silvercross half of this price and that one is top of range in the pram's world.

Great brand. I've used a secondhand, older model iCandy Peach for the past 3 years. I don't drive so it's had A LOT of mileage but still going strong. I'll have to replace it soon, only because my child is growing out of it.
Choice.com.au review of iCandy Peach 7 - 32% (out of 100) mentions serious safety failures. No other models of iCandy were tested by them. May be worth reading before buying.
Out of 51 prams Peach 7 scored worse - depends how you feel about Choice reputability.holey smokes, i thought $800 was pricey on another post, this seems designer / rolls royce!
This is a very good pram, probably one of the best. I can't comment on the price.
