Is that really typical of Repco to advertize specials they have limited stock of?
It happened with me on weekend when they had Megnatic was on special for whole weekend and out of stock on Saturday 1pm already.

Repco is hardly a "small business" and if you read further you will see that pretty much nothing else applies. My store had heaps of stock at 11am sat morning. If ozehunter wanted some bad he could have gone to another store.

In fact, a larger company should have a better understanding of the popularity of their products at a particular price point, so are more likely to come under 'bait advertising' laws…
Regardless… It is still not bait advertising. There was plenty of stock and heaps of people got the deal. Running out of stock at one particular store does not equate to bait advertising.
