It was okay. Very well executed. Has some cool scenes and characters. The story is set up well and lays way for some bigger events to come from the book it’s based on.

Definitely worth watching, much better then the last couple seasons of GoT.
I'll offer a different opinion in that I loved GoT (except last two seasons) but thought this series was terrible. I watched about 5 episodes and it felt pretty lazy/similar to the last two seasons of GoT imo. Lots of plot holes and time skips etc. that felt rushed.
Matches my opinion. Gave up after a few episodes
started off ok, got a bit mundane in the middle but finished REALLY well. just get through the middle, you won't regret it i reckon.
IMO, worse than the last couple of seasons of GoT.
At least in Game of Thrones, all of the characters remained the same and were familiar, whereas in House of the Dragon, the actors went from familiar faces in the first 3 or 4 eps (I can't remember when anymore), to being aged 15 years and being played by completely different actors. And, I have to say the casting choices for the show were terrible. I really didn't like any of them. Even Matt Smith was a cringe to watch.

honestly don't know what the excessive amount of debauchery added to the original series tbh. what made GoT great was the superb acting and the incredible, INCREDIBLE dialogues - certainly not the boobs and debauchery imo.
