    Agreed. I purchased my first 27 inch 1440p IPS monitor for $309 on the 26/06/2012

    That's over 11 years ago.
    There are ex office hp z27n for $150 delivered on eBay that just need a $30 mounting arm which are still really good monitors for 60hz.

  1080p 75hz for 250 dollars is robbery AND it's curved+VA too? Doesn't make sense for the size. It doesn't even have any monitor adjustment!

  I just got the Samsung UR550, 28 inches IPS and 4K for $299. Better value IMO, unless you love the curve.

      I got it from the Good Guys, and it looks like they have sold out. At $335 I would still consider that good value.

      edit - some people spoke to JB Hifi chat and used The Good Guys to price beat, iirc somebody got 2 units at $250 each.
