Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Two pieces of exciting news (well I'm excited):
1) The launch of today's deal is to celebrate bringing back a featured rotating Single Origin we found many people to be quite fond of, it's our Guatemala Ayarza. It's been over a year since we've had any available, so I'm wrapped that we've been able to secure some more supply (albeit a relatively small supply) of this terrific coffee. As a brief reintroduction to this SO…it's beautifully sweet, with a soothing gentle kick to it, chocolate on show, then praline pecan with a slightly fruity finish

2) I'm happy to announce we've just opened up our August and September delayed dispatch schedule for you. As we had multiple requests during our most recent Brazil deal to open up August dispatch we've decided to include Brazil in this deal too, so everyone's got the opportunity to plan ahead while making the most of this deal pricing

We're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and newly launched Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin:

1) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

2) NOW SOLD OUT Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin, only $15.59 per 500g (usually $25.99 per 500g), and $27.59 per 1kg (usually $45.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 13/08/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Thursday in September. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

Following the success of our recent trials of new shipping rates, we've decided to extend these for this deal too :)
FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. We recommend freezing any excess bags purchased to quality for free shipping, without compromising on enjoying fresh coffee.

  • Hi Tom, not sure if I missed announcement elsewhere, can we assume the reduced package size trial is done and you’re having to soak up Aus Post’s costs? Appreciate the bargains!

    • +5

Morning @Barnesworth appreciate the double check!

We've commented on it in July, but there wasn't a specific announcement as such. Throughout the trial I must say we sincerely appreciated the Oz B Community's support. I know the change wasn't for everyone, but we had to try. The temporary change on some products (throughout there were certain products that never changed from 500g/1kg bags) suited some and not so much others, so the amount of people that stuck with us truly meant so much. In theory 400g and 800g should have reduced our costs. Ironically in practice without a significant overhaul of what we do, longer term 400g and 800g sizes would have actually resulted in our costs increasing to the point that we may have had to increase our prices and the purpose of the trial was to prevent a price per kg increase to customers. Don't worry the results from 500g/1kg with the free shipping option hopefully won't mean we'll need to notably increase our prices due to the shipping costs, unless there's some sudden change in the coffee market or buying behaviour. We'll continue to strive towards our goal of increasing quality while reducing prices for customer…a continual work in progress. Very happy this deal's a winner for you :)

      • That's awesome news, Tom, I'm really glad you were able to get some useful results out of it. I'm only a very small-scale online seller (eBay, Gumtree, FB Marketplace) but I'm well aware that working out the best balance for shipping is probably the most difficult part of the process. Logistics can easily be the tipping point between a good deal and a bad one for all involved.

        • Hey @Chazzozz thanks a lot for the positive words, much appreciated!

Indeed, logistics is an integral part of online selling and a continual balancing act, with the form of ongoing negotiations being quite different from one delivery company to another depending on their corp hierarchy and business model. Terrific to hear you're an online seller too, I've have a bit of a look into marketplaces, but I'm not quite sure they're the right place for coffee, still need to investigate a bit more. Having a "small-scale online seller" with the view of becoming a larger-scale online seller it a great attitude, I think it's a good way to keep a nibble and hungry mindset, so I do my keep in that frame of mind regardless of what the future ahead holds :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: FWIW, I preferred the 400/800.
I find 500g too little, but 1kg a little too much for the amount I use and for how long before I notice it degrading.

This way I could order 800g and have it all in its freshest state.

I don't believe in freezing - even when I use my vacuum chamber.
It might be slightly better when you're talking 2-3 Months storage, but for that length of time the beans are worse regardless of the method used.

            • @fusion17: Hmm other people swear that freezing works very well. Out of interest do you believe in frozen vegetables and other things?

I got 3x 500g in the freezer, should be better than leaving it out for 2 months I guess. Got the open bag in the fridge but may put those in a vac container and leave out (but got the rest of the current ALDI beans in there, hmm).

Hot days in summer I don't see how leaving out Would be better. I could leave another one out but bit late now (plus still got a free 500g coming from Inglewood a well).

              • @G-rig: Not veges, they definitely degrade but meats are fine. I vac pack steaks etc for 6 months plus.

So 2 months+ is a long time and it's possible freezing is slightly better. Although by then the speciality roaster beans you've purchased have already gone way past their best by date.
Its not like freezing keeps them even close to 2-4 weeks freshness. If that was the case we'd be buying beans in the freezer section.

I'm talking when it comes to 2-6 weeks of freezing. I think it makes them worse than just leaving it in a cool dark place.

                • @fusion17: Maybe I'll get a packet out soon once the first ones used up, got a vac container, could toss the aldi beans in there or take to work for plunger.

I'm sure it will be fine, not worth stressing over.

PS. Veg are actually just as nutritional, snap frozen. Tend to only buy frozen green peas and edamame anyway, have bought broccoli on the past but texture aside it's cheaper to buy fresh broccoli.

      • I was wondering about that, even though the smaller bags cost the same per gram, but shipping cost per gram has increased, and total sales also reduced in some way due to smaller bags.

Great to see you can work things out to switch back to 1kg bags.

        • +1

@browser good observations, those factors did have an impact, but there were offer unforeseen short and long-terms facts too…

Anyway, the testing had some very helpful results, I'm happy to hear back to 1kg is a winner for you :)

    • Thanks Tom, happy to keep supporting your awesome product and service. Keep up the good work.

      • @Barnesworth WOW what a wonderful comment to receive!

Thank you so much for your terrific vote of confidence, we'll keep working hard to stay in your good books :)

  • Damn I already ordered Airjo coffee but really wanted to try the Brazilian beans. Is it definitely true that if you freeze it they stay fresh?

    • +3

Is it definitely true that if you freeze it they stay fresh?

Yes - I do it all the time.

    • Yes, it helps keep them stay fresh for longer. Weird coffee guy: https://youtu.be/5uT5_IWWb00

    • Morning @Westpac I'm wrapped to know really want to try our Brazil SO!

100% freezing coffee works brilliantly well. If your freeze is looking a bit full right now, you also have the option to make the most of our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system. You can order today and select dispatch to be as far away as 28 September :)

      • Oh did not know the delayed dispatch - perfect, thanks!

        • Glad I mentioned it then!

Once you've selected your product/s, on our cart page you'll see a calendar, just click on a dispatch date in a green circle and you should be all set :)

    • I buy 4-6 at a time and freeze. They still taste great

    • +2

Freezing completely ruins them in my experience

      • Which beans, how long were they in the freezer, did you leave out or straight in the grinder?

Just asking as everyone seems to think it's fine.

        • Probably only a month or two in the freezer. I tried it with both straight in the grinder and left out. Brewed in a french press and drank black. Don't remember which brand but they were single origin, either a light or medium-light roast. It took the flavour out and made it very flat.

          • @Gyr: Hmm I think it's best to just buy as you need then and not worry about the free shipping only to freeze them. $7 reasonable so I'll probably just get 1kg to try.

In winter I think they keep ok in my vac container or in the fridge.

I find grinding into group handle each time I make a coffee keeps things fresh, no point grinding more.

          • @Gyr: Hey @Gyr out of curiosity did you try that specific bag of coffee prior to freezing it? Did the coffee have any sort of freezer flavour to it?

      • -1

        Agreed.

I don't believe in freezing - even when I use my vacuum chamber.
It might be slightly better when you're talking 2-3 Months storage, but for that length of time the beans are worse regardless of the method used.
I actually think if you freeze it just for 1month it's worse than just leaving it on the shelf.

      • My experience has been this as well, Coffee becomes bland and flavourless for me. after freezing.
BUT definitely a me problem as people have talked highly of this.

        • Not sure who to believe.

Well I don't think coffee beans would freeze like water does.. perhaps the fridge is a good compromise.

You would have to test some fresh vs frozen once a week for 2-6 t weeks to compare.

    • Do you need to thaw before use or just leave some out when ready etc? Imagine just put some into the hopper as needed.

I just put in the fridge if buying one bag but now got a coffee vac sealed container.

These Brazilian beans sound pretty good, tempted to get a 1kg. Have been getting good results with ALDI medium dark roast as my go to but wouldn't mind mixing it up sometimes (and see if they are twice as good).

      • +1

Freeze in portions that you'll use in a reasonable period. For me that's 250g for a month. That avoids the frozen beans partially thawing or introducing more moisture. Idk when it comes to vacuum containers though, I just use coffee bags.
Bring the bag out of the freezer the day before and let it come to room temp before opening.
        Hasn't gone wrong for me.

        • ok good to know, cheers

So are you staying you take a 250g bag out and leave it at room temp for a month? Or put some in the hopper every few days ?

Ordered 500g bags which should suit the freezer.

          • @G-rig: I mean 250g is around what I use in a month so I split my beans into portions of that amount. When a bag's about done I get a new one out of the freezer and let it thaw for around 24 hours before opening. After that it's just business as usual. Once a bag is open it stays out.

            • @Diji: I see, sounds ok. 'Staying out' is what makes it less fresh i assume, but 250g isn't too much to fuss around with but yeah smaller portions alright. I used to get 1kg aldi beans and store in the fridge with a food clip, just pouring out some into the hopper 2-3x a week or something. Since then got a 500g and have put in the coffee container and it's out on the bench.

I though those coffee bags probably stay vac sealed until open so i'd freeze as 500g bags. Would hope to use them within 3-4 weeks each (used to be a good month at least to use 1kg but being aldi ones didn't matter if you waste a bit).

Just ordered Brazilian, keen on a change from airjo

    • +1

WOW thank you so much for your order, it's an opportunity we won't take for granted!

      • So I ordered it shipped Monday and it hasn't arrived by Friday. It wasn't 'on its way' until Wednesday. I'm not very impressed.

        • Hey @teacherer appreciate the feedback!

If you selected dispatch on Monday and received a tracking email on Monday, that means we kept up our end of the bargain and dispatched your order on Monday as per your selection.

Depending on the delivery company and specific driver, the parcel may get an initial scan upon collection or its first scan "on its way" may actually happen after its already been processed through the first delivery company sorting factory (on a regular day each delivery company sorting facility will process about 200,000 parcels, on a super busy day it could be close to 500,000 parcels). Another aspect to consider is that tracking in real time varies from company to company. Sometimes for example if we look up an Australia Post tracking number on our system it'll show it's gone through the first two scans, but if someone without a merchant account looks up tracking, it'll appear as though there's no scans yet. I know first hand it can be frustrating waiting for that first scan/delivered and we'd love every delivery to be as quick as some (a number of this week's deliveries were delivered the same day of dispatch or the next day). However, unfortunately all it takes is an Aust Post semi to brake down or sorting facility machine to fail to cause a slight delay on the delivery company's processing speed. If you haven't already done so please send a reply email to your order confirmation email referring to this message and we'll do our best to speed up the delivery process for you :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: It is ORDER #36064.

I understand your explanation, this is just very different to the experience from other venders. I wasn't expecting such a wait as I've had several items arrive from VIC to QLD this week without delay.

Just a disappointing first experience out of your control.

            Thanks for replying.

            • @teacherer: mine arrived on Friday afternoon, also dispatched Tuesday. I am in Melbourne.

              • @ddhytz: Terrific to hear @ddhytz appreciate you sharing the feedback :)

            • @teacherer: Completely appreciate what you're saying @teacherer and it would be great if every single parcel from one state to another had the exact same delivery speed, unfortunately it's not always the case. Sometime a bit of a luck of the draw is at play. As mentioned, all it takes is an Aust Post truck to break down to cause a delay on some parcels and not on others. Regardless of the scale of industry all companies go through the same delivery networks e.g. I've visited delivery company sorting facilities and saw parcels from very small scale vendors get processed the exact same way as parcels from Amazon.

I understand the convenience of putting your order number here, but to look into an order or action anything to do with an order we really do need to receive a rely message to the order confirmation email. We've found out the hard way once before not to take action to commented order numbers, with autocorrect changing the order number we were sent once before, which resulted in the wrong order being edited. This reply email system ensures we are looking at the correct order, and actually usually makes things more efficient for customers too limiting back and forth clarifications e.g. you've mentioned a few times this is your first order with us, however the order number you have messaged on this forum corresponds to a customer who has placed a few orders with us. Your emailed doesn't need to be long you can literally just hit reply, type "@teacherer Oz B comment" hit send and we'll take care of the rest :)

        • Received mine, late today (Tuesday dispatch request) :).

          Cheers

          • +1

@G-rig: Fantastic news @G-rig I'm happy you got the good stuff in time for the weekend!

  • Do you have any dark roast varieties?

    • +1

Hey @pufffdragon appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

At present we do not offer "dark roast" coffees from a technical roast perspective. When you get a sec could you please clarify why you're specifically after a dark roast? Are you keen on strong chocolate notes, bitterness or the body/texture of a dark roast? Depending on the specific qualities you're seeking, we may have an option that suits you well as a medium roast :)

      • Thanks for the reply. Maybe it's just my machine and dark roasts being a bit more forgiving to dial in with it, but I get a richer shot from dark roasts with milk based coffee.

I got the Brazil beans from you guys last time and they were was top notch, no complaints. More milder but beautiful flavour. I've actually kept a bag on freeze for when my new grinder comes in. Maybe I just suck at making coffee lol.

        • +1

dark roasts being a bit more forgiving to dial in with it,

Yep, darker roasts are far easier to extract and don't need to have as 'perfect' of a grind to get good results.

        • +1

@pufffdragon sure thing, it does depend a bit on the capability of the specific machine, but that's more of a factor for full-automated push button machines. Relatively speaking, a darker roast is less dense which means it's more porous, thus extraction can happen at lower temperatures with less water (contact time). If the water temp and contact time suited to a medium roast are used on a dark roast likely more soluble and nonsoluble coffee particles will be extracted (overextraction). This means higher extraction yield, thus higher body which is generally good for milk based coffees from a texture perspective. However, with dark roasts the compromise is usually flavour, results would lower the spectrum of flavour, increase bitterness and lower acidity levels.

Woohoo, I'm wrapped to know how much you've enjoyed our Brazil SO. Congrats on the new grinder, always an exciting time to get new equipment. I think you'll hopefully be all set with the new grinder and our brew guides to increase the flavour strength. Don't think it's a case that you "suck as coffee," just a case of practice makes perfect. You're always welcome to reach out via email with any extraction questions once you get your new grinder :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Man, you know your coffee. Thanks for the well detailed and easy to understand info.

            • +1

@pufffdragon: Sure thing, that my job @pufffdragon haha. My level of coffee knowledge is a continual work in progress, always more to learn which is why I love it!

Very happy to hear you found my response helpful :)

        • Nice, looking forward to the Brazil SO beans as well, should be a treat/change from my go to beans (Aldi med dark roast).

What grinder are you getting :P?
Tempted to upgrade one day as well, but really can't complain about my EM0480 - still does the trick with no maintenance and goes plenty fine enough with the washer mod from back in the day. Perhaps I haven't used anything better to know the difference but still pairs up well my my Gaggia Classic (pre 2015). It is a bit clumpy but it's no effort to do a few light pre-tamps to even it out - don't know about this technique but seems to work - agree practice makes a big difference and great when you can make fantastic coffee at home.

          • +1

@G-rig: Yeah, it's a top quality bean. You'll appreciate it after the Aldi beans. Well worth it.

I'm waiting on the Timemore 64s grinder. Was originally going to upgrade to the Baratza Encore ESP, but a few on ozbargain tempted me to jump onboard the Timemore Kickstarter.

  • Thanks Tom - when are your roasting dates?

Secondly, curious whys the Guatemala beans washed verses natural for Brazil SO?

    • Hey @plzcourtesyflush appreciate the questions!

      1) We roast several time a week, depending on how busy the week e.g. it could be 3 day or as many as 7 days in a given week. We always strive to dispatch orders nice and fresh within 48 business hours of roasting

      2) Just so I'm on the same page are you asking about the processes in general or why we have chose each coffee relative to their process?

      • Processes in general, why does the Guatemala beans need to be washed. Does this remove impurities? Cleaner taste etc
long time customer bought another 3 bags and +1 for returning back to 500g bags

        • +2

Morning @plzcourtesyflush appreciate you coming back to me with the clarification!

Great questions and thank you as these sort of questions once in a while remind me to "see the wood for the trees." I do my best to remember that my level of coffee knowledge (a continually growing work in progress) is likely more technical than most of our customers. Sometimes I assume people know about certain technical coffee info, when it's not a reasonable assumption for me to make.

Back to your questions…the Guatemala beans don't need to be Washed, it's just the way they've been processed. An analogy for processing methods would be cooking eggs. You can boil, poach, fry or scramble them, each method of cooking is different and results in different tastes, aromas and textures. In other words at the end of the day however you process coffee it's still coffee, but the method in which you process the coffee impacts the flavour. Washed usually result in a cleaner flavour with lighter body. Natural usually results in a fruitier flavour with fuller body. Honey process in somewhere in the middle of the Washed and Natural. The decision about which process is used is generally determines by desired flavour outcomes or resources available at origin. There's no real right or wrong way of processing coffees, there's just different methods to use which have different flavour outcomes.

Wonderful to hear about your most recent order with us, thank you so much, it's truly appreciated!

  • Finally bit the bullet and bought a kg, the Brazil "Acidity = Milk Chocolate" got me

    • +1

Woohoo @TerryJustTerry amazing to hear you've placed your first order with us, thank you so much, it's an opportunity we won't take for granted!

    • +1

You won't regret it. This is my go-to bean for everything, and although I drink it as espresso, I make lattes for everyone else.

My in-laws are typically sweet milky coffee drinkers, but they're now addicted to my sugar-free flat whites with the Brazil Sao Paulo.

Get the extraction right and it's one of the best beans I've ever experienced.

      • Good to know ! thanks :D

      • WOOHOO for that wonderful vote of confidence @MyOtherOtter thank you so much sharing such terrific feedback!

Love your spruiking skills and I'm very happy to hear our fresh coffee is a hit with the all important in-laws :)

  • Ordered one. Would love to have the frequent buyer deal back.

    • Hey @pilmarion thank you so much for another terrific order, it truly means so much!

I'm wrapped to know how much you've enjoyed our FBC. Selecting and roasting the Surprise Mystery Flight stops is one of my favourite things to do. I'm not sure if you've read any comments on this post or others about our recent alternate bag quantity testing? Long story short, due to shipping costs we had to test 400g|800g from a cost perspective, practice varied from the testing theory and those quantities adopted to all our products would have ended up costing us more long-term. So the best financial option at present was to maintain 500g|1kg quantity increments. However, this didn't resolve the shipping costs escalation and we're do all possible to not increase the price per kg to our customers. The free shipping for $69 spend is helpful, but we had to go a bit further, so for the moment we've removed Afterpay as a payment option given their merchant fees are 3-4 times the cost of other payment processors and they only account for a small minority of orders (hopefully those people will be happy to use PayPal or bank cards to keep ordering). We've also decided to hold off on doing a new round of our FBC, which was a tough decision given how much I enjoy doing it. I always need to put the business first over myself, otherwise it's a hobby rather than a business. As our FBC is our most time consuming product line per order and least profitable product line, something else had to change beyond the free shipping and Afterpay, given the above, so it had to be a pause on our FBC. I have my fingers crossed that we'll be able to bring back our FBC again in the future even better than before :)

      • Thanks for the update. For me, FBC is more about getting consistent delivery without having "Oh I forgot to order beans and it will take a few days at least" moments with fixed price than a bargain. (compare to something like Amazon S&S where the price may change every month or so)

I'd happy to sign up for 'auto purchase whatever monthly deal' - my 2c

        • Sure thing @pilmarion sincerely appreciate you taking the time to provide the additional feedback!

Interesting concept of "auto purchase whatever monthly deal." We will look at potentially bringing back our FBC some time again in the future. In the meantime, our unique scheduled dispatch system may suit you, you can generally pre-book dispatches up to 60 days (we're looking into technology to further increase this timeframe) in advance making the most of any current deal pricing :)

  • Thanks OP.

    • :)

Best coffee out there. I've got my entire work team buying the Brazilian SO

    • WOW WOW WOW @glasswire how wonderful to hear, thank you so much for your terrific compliment and excellent spriuking skills, it truly means so much to have your support and that you're helping spread the word about Lime Blue Coffee!!!

  • +1

Hi Tom, is it possible to buy multiple bags in one transaction, and have them dispatched on different dates? Or do I need to place multiple orders to do this?

    • Morning @punkindrublic appreciate you reaching out to check first!

For this deal, from financial and technical perspectives it's "one dispatch per order." As such to get bags dispatched on different dates or on the same date to different addresses, you'll need to place multiple orders. In the background we have been looking into technology to achieve your request in a viable way…it's still a work in progress. In the meantime, if you're keen to achieve efficiency in life admin I suggest creating an account with us, so you can save your address details ect… to fast track placing repeat orders :)

      • Thanks Tom, not to worry!

        • Sure thing @punkindrublic please feel welcome to shout out if you have any further questions :)

  • Thanks OP - Yet to try some LimeBlue so got some Brazil :)

Fantastic @fitzy87 thank you so much for giving us a shot, your order is an opportunity we won't take for granted!

Hey @skidexa yes we've opened this one back to 2 months of dispatch availability as is the norm prior to July. If you're keen on trying out the Guatemala SO or getting some coffee dispatched next week (as well as down the track) then I'd highly recommend jumping on to order now. However, if you're just keen on a dispatch down the track and our Brazil SO, then it should be fine to wait until the weekend :)

  • Hi OP. Can I please confirm that these aren't ideal for milk coffee and that I should stick with a blend?

    • +1

Not OP but from experience can say the Brazil Sao Paulo SO makes a beautiful milk coffee. It's my go to bean.

Not sure on the Guatemala though, I've not tried it.

    • Hey @drex appreciate you reaching out to check!

Both of these Single Origins work really well for both milk based and black coffees :)

Out of curiosity, why were you under the impression "that these aren't ideal for milk coffee and that I should stick with a blend?"

      • Hi Tom. No real reason, probably just my own misconception :) Thanks for confirming.

        • Sure thing, appreciate the feedback, glad we're on the same page now :)

Anyone got Breville barista express? What settings did you find the best for the Brazilian beans?

    • Hey @Westpac in terms of the grind settings, that'll likely be specifically unique to your machine, as that's impacted on the calibration and use of your burrs. In terms of the brew ratios, I'd we print brew guides for each coffee on our bags, as your machine uses a 54mm basket I'd recommend starting with a 16 gram dose, please feel welcome to email us if you have any further questions :)

Hanging on for a decaf discount.. unfortunately full up on regular beans at the moment, otherwise would be keen to try the Ayarza!

Hey @Joel89 thanks for the info!

We currently just have enough SWP Decaf in stock to cover any full-priced orders. We need to get extra stock in for any product we do a deal on. I'm not sure when our next Decaf deal will be, but you could always get a small bag at regular price to tie you over. If you're keen on trying out the Ayarza I strongly suggest placing an order now and selected a delay dispatch date or freezing the bag until you're ready to enjoy it, as I have a hunch we may sell out of our Ayarza during this deal :)

  • Just bought some from my local Roasters here in WA so I'm stocked for this month. Noticed your comment so I've ordered the Guatamala and Brazilian varieties with delayed shipping, what a great idea!!

    • Glad my comment caught your eye @Willyeckerslike and it's fantastic to hear you think our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system is a "great idea!!"

Thank you so much for placing a terrific combo order with us, it really does mean so much and is an opportunity we won't take for granted :)

It's good to have you back, 500g bags.

    • :)

Which of the 2 would you recommend for filter coffee?

    • Hey @cooleagles appreciate you reaching out to check!

Both work really well from an extraction perspective, so it really comes down to your personal flavour preference. The Guat is slightly more fruity with a higher acidity level than the Brazil. The Brazil has more chocolate notes and is a bit sweeter than the Guat. Hope that info helps you narrow down the winner for you :)

Is there any chance for a deal on decaf? I wanted to place my orders for next week and set up a delayed shipment for the end of August ideally

    • Hey @safwanc two orders sound terrific!

We don't plan deals too far ahead of time, but still need to plan a bit ahead as we need to have more stock on hand than usual. As such, we generally can't just add an extra product to a live deal on the fly. We do have enough SWP Decaf on hand to fulfil any full priced orders, so perhaps you could just place an order for dispatch next week to tie you over and then place a few orders whenever our next Decaf deal is live to make the most of the deal pricing :)

  • Grabbed a few bags, great price! Had some beans from Lime Blue appear in one of the hoppers at work and thought it was delicious but on the pricier side compared to the normal beans I get. Might put in another order for early September too.

    • Hey @Ranike fantastic, thank you so much for placing a direct order with us(a second order for Sept dispatch sounds even more terrific), it really does mean a lot!

Wonderful to hear your enjoyment of our fresh coffee at work got you over the line to try us at home :)

  • Darn - the Guatemalan coffee is no longer available in single 500g bags so I guess I'll just have to buy a whole Kg. Life can be tough some days. Good thing I was able to round it out with some of the most excellent BSP beans as well!
