Did I miss it in the description, or are there no details as to what the actual amplifier IC is?
I was expecting to see TI TPA3xxx chip details listed somewhere.

      It is JL chip

Most of them are now Chinese knock-offs of TPA.

I would exercise caution buying anything from this mob. My first and last order was missing one kit, and compoments from the other were smashed.. Vacuum tubes (think small light bulbs) were packed lose in same bag as aluminium heatsinks, with zero padding.
Got no response from customer support, needed to use PayPal to dispute.
    However, as always YMMV.

    • Thanks, good to know. I've seen them post multiple times and been intrigued. Will be less likely to buy from them now, cheers.

Prices are good, but make sure you have protections in place is all im saying.

      • If item was arrived damaged/broken, we can either resend a new one or refund for it.

    • Sorry to know that. If possible, may I have your order no. for further checking please?

Absolutely you may - I assume to verify my comment… Order number 43603. I ordered 2x amp kits + a dc/dc converter. One amp kit never turned up, and I received a usb power adapter board instead.

Thank you for the info. I have checked for you just now, the customer support has been replied the paypal message and agreed the refund for the 2 amplifier diy kits. I am not sure if the reason has been explained on Paypal at time, the usb board is a little gift, another kit was out of stock. We sincerely apologise for the bad experience caused for you. To show the apologise, we will send a new amp to you at no cost. Hope you could accept our apologise and give us more chance to improve the service.

Well, I just received an email from IC-Station. They are righting their wrongs. May have a future customer after all. As always YMMV!
