Phone to Replace P30 Pro - Budget < $500

Hey guys,

My P30 Pro is starting to become a bit old. Software issues, bottom mic is broken.

Looking for a new phone with a budget of up to $500.

Any suggestions?

      Was thinking the edge 30 pro might be the choice.

      Do you think I would notice much of a difference between Edge 30 Pro & Motorola Edge 30 Neo?

    Best Mid-Range Smartphone ($300 ⇆ $500) in 2023

    However, if you can stretch your budget, you can get flagship Pixel 7 for $799 + get $200 JB gift card so ends up being $599.

    Another option is to trade in any phone and get Oppo Find X5 for $499.

    Oppo Find X5 would be my pick. CodeXD provided the link in comments.
    Another one would be if you can wait a few weeks, Pixel 6a or if you can stretch to a Pixel 7a when it goes on sale.

    Pixel 6a $599rrp. Sale price might work out $499 or cheaper.

    Pixel 7a $749rrp. Sales price about $599 or cheaper.

    You might be disappointed with camera quality, since you are coming from a Huawei p30 pro if you go for non-Pixel android phones & iPhones. IMO Google Pixel is still the top camera smartphone.

      I'm thinking I'll wait until the 25yr birthday sale next week to see what deals they have on the pixels

      I think I've got a spare phone lying around that I can use until next week
