But optus network… :(
Optus has better reception than Telstra where I live so I guess it depends on your location.
So far where optus failed us, Telstra rocks
So true. Where I live there's an Optus tower just up the road on a hill. I get reception two levels down underground in my apartment car park. When on Boost I got zilch anywhere underground.
Even at $120 the Coles 60GB 365 day got the Finder award.

Highly Commended: Long Expiry Prepaid Mobile Plan
Coles Mobile is highly commended for offering good data allowances at competitive prices if you're after a 365-day plan. You can enjoy unlimited international calls and text to 15 countries.
https://www.finder.com.au/mobile-plans/coles-mobile#reviewThe 120GB/365 days is also a good deal, currently reduced to $119. However, the local Coles only had the 60GB and 200GB SIM cards in stock. Got one of the 60GB today. One of the activation questions was whether to enable auto-recharge, so if you don't want it to, untick the box.
Do these have their own apps to track data etc or because its on the Optus network does it use the Yes app?
Yes. They have a pretty simple coles branded app provided by Optus.
worst network ever, had to change within 4 months
only worth when I signed up with flybuysit this currently active? says error
Been with them for 3 years and love it and get excellent coverage. Great value and they will offer you a 20% discount on your renewal (turn off auto renew in the app) - for me $96 a year for 110gb (60gb plan + 50gb data rollover) - hard to beat $8 a month including the unlimited calls to 15 countries
Agree!
Planning for a 20 day trip to Japan in September.
Is there a better plan than this with enough data?I wouldn’t use this as a roaming service when in Japan - just get a seperate sim from someone like Sims Direct or Sim Corner - both offer esim or physical sims for Japan
However you can receive SMSs while overseas on this service at no cost (replying would require you to have a credit on your account though)
Using math this equates to $8.25 per month.
