wow that was a solid price for the 32" frame
Yeah as much as I dislike the frame tv for tv and movies, I’d rather that.
Digital photo frame
It is called canvas as compared to frame as it does some magic to produce photos like they are printed. Online reviews suggest that these appears very different to the what appears on TV or a high resolution monitor.
See the comparison for Caniva brand canvas:
Are you saying that the Netgear compares favourably to the Canvia as the Netgear is cheaper?
What type of router is that?
Definetly not the spyder type.
I thought it was going to be a Meural Network.
This seems expensive for the size, and given you have to plug it in anyway I think the guys above hit the nail on the head getting the frame tv instead.
Mirror mirror on the wall , who is the tightest a$$ of them all?
I like your style
At work, we use a large Sony 75" mounted sideways and then connect a cheap mini pc to it to run powerpoint, photos etc. Was much cheaper than getting a screen "optimised" for displays
I like the idea… a lot but not at this price point
Costco sells these and they are awesome. They regularly go on sale foe $699

Your probably paying for the tech they use to make the images look like real life printed photos
from netgear? hummmm
Agree. Money is for the software. It is the same thing as an album on Sportify VS Apple Music Vs Tidal Vs vinyl. Album on vinyl will cost way more that any other alternative, but people still buy as it is closest to real audio.
Also paperback cost way more than kindle version. Still people spend money to paperback.
Hang a thick 32 inch TV close to you roof in living room and look at computer images on the TV is not same as looking at the printed photo.
LOL, just look at the pathetic specs…. full HD/ AHVA LCD screen, comparing that to an actual print?
LMAO
@HD9990: As stated above, its the tech that they use to make digital photo look like its printed. Basically you are paying for their R&D costs
Oh it's a LCD panel.
I have both a Frame TV and a Canvas; both are great. I got them 5.5 years ago, so a 32inch Frame wasn't really a cheaper option, but even if it was, having two Frames in the same room would cause issues because they would both turn on / off with the one remote (power is done via IR, then other commands via bluetooth). The Frame also has the external OneConnect box, which I wouldn't have anywhere to put on the wall where my Canvas is. The Canvas' wall mount also allows is to rotate so it can be both portrait and landscape.
I paid $4k for the 65inch Frame and $1k for the 27inch Meural.
the samsung The Frame TV is beautiful
$999 for a 21" 1080p lcd tv? lol
Looks cool but then they sort of lost me at
