Make sure you are in the correct state! Im in Vic and accidentally purchased last time they were on sale. I can't use them and can't get a refund.
    My own fault I know.

Would probably be nicer for you to offer something reasonable to buy them that doesn't leave @Miyagi with nothing and you with a steal

You’re all just salty because I was first in line haha

        Username checks out

C'mon man at least offer something in return

Why don't you outbid him then?

    • same same

    • yeah its pretty annoying that its not available for Victoria. I nearly bought it last round too

Rock bottom if you don’t want to go during peak, although waiting 24 hours for redemption is a hassle.
Otherwise if you have Telstra register for the rewards program and it’s $13 to buy through the website

    • Yes I got a 13.50 ticket for Friday night no booking fee via telstra rewards.

    • Where does it say that you have to wait 24 hours for redemption? I don't see it

      • I got mines instantly

        • Ah. I’m confusing it with regular gift code or promotional codes, I think the arrangements differ.
With some you can’t redeem a movie ticket within 24 hours of issuance of the redemption code.

Can this be used for recliner seats without the gold class ones ?

  • Barbie or Oppenheimer?

      Sound of Freedom

    • +3

      Both

    • Barbenheimer double

Oppenheimer was way too overhyped. It was so hard to understand and slow paced

… Must like Michael Bay films.

Its a biopic not a action film. Not every film has to be about action and explosions, and I quite enjoyed the to Second Red Scare element to the film.

    • If you wanna watch a movie about relentless violence and disregard for mankind, watch Barbie.

    Unrestricted $17.99 on groupon

I assume the $11.95 is limited to original seats. Barbie on Tuesday is $11 which is bit cheaper

Event cinemas are all on the other side of the city for me unfortunately in SA :(

    Just checked my RAA membership

    RAA members get access to:

$10 eSaver movie eVouchers (not valid for use from 5pm on Saturdays)
$15.50 movie eVouchers (valid any day*)
$30 Gold Class eVouchers valid for Event Cinema Marion

    • Yes, RAA still slightly ahead here, although there is a $1.50 booking fee per ticket when booking online.

      • The Hoyts Lux mag be better at $33? Comes with drink/popcorn I read.

  • +1

Telstra Plus Tickets: $13.5 (No booking fees as well)
+ Pay with SB Event/Village eCards: 8% cashback
= Turns out ~ 12.42 per ticket Unrestricted

There seems to be 2 types of restricted vouchers on sale on shop back ATM. They are both the same 11.95 and 13.95, the only difference is that the more expensive one expires March 2024 while the cheap one expires this October

Thanks, just in time for Barbie 👛

  • Can the friend link be shared with more than 1 friend?

  • Is there anywhere I can get reading cinema tickets for cheap?

  • Can anyone pls confirm if voucher works for Sunday in QLD?

    • +2

Works for Sunday in NSW if that helps..

      • Thanks it worked. I was trying to put the voucher in gift card section!!

  • Note that upgrading to v-max charged $6. So, if you have Life Rewards from bupa, that one ($17.50) is actually a better deal for v-max.

    • +1

Note this is cinema/location dependant, my two closest locals charge $4 and $5

  • The voucher shopback is showing me has letters but event cinemas payment page doesn't allow letters, how do I redeem?

    • Think I had the same issue then i noticed the voucher option is actually on the top of the page and I was trying gift card section at the bottom of the page.

  • $13.50 peak, $13.00 off-peak for Toyota owners

    $13.50 peak, $12.50 off-peak for RACQ members

We need kogan to bring back those $5 tickets :(

  • +1

Does this work on Saturdays before 5pm? The wordings are not that clear

    • No Saturdays

  • is the 11.95 still valid? can't find it on the app

    • If you search for EVENT tickets in the classifieds section, I'm selling x3 for $30.
