    If you can be bothered, you can easily use VPN on GMG to get it cheaper (The keys aren't region locked).
    Eg. Malaysia has it for 129.48 RM (AU$41.95). Turkey would have been good but doesn't seem like the game can be bought there on GMG.

        I did this and activated my key no issues (Don't need VPN to redeem/activate key). Though I made the mistake of buying from a less cheap place (Japan) before finding cheaper ones.
        To be safe make sure the GMG game page says it has no region restrictions. It may still work if there's restrictions but not for the country you purchase in, but I haven't tested that.
        Steamdb gives a good idea of which regions are cheaper (GMG doesn't support all of these regions)

      I can't get payment to go through on my debit card and there doesn't seem to be PayPal? how do you do it?

        Sorry I was mistaken, after some more testing only Paypal works and only some countries have Paypal. The only one I have confirmed working so far is Japan (AU$47.72). Will let you know if I come across more.

      I tried a few countries but gave up most didn't have PayPal option.
      Japan worked via PayPal - $48.11 after conversion. Happy with that, thanks again!

          Nope, should be fine to use your Aussie one. You'll just be charged a currency conversion fee ontop of the original charge.

      Hopefully not a sign to come for future unreal engine 5 games, i believe layer of fear isn't using a lot of the more advanced features which could be why it runs a lot better. But probably just slack optimization here and i would avoid unless you have a powerhouse pc

      obvs PC will differ with hardware but for what it's worth it runs great for me with a 4080. 175fps on ultra with FG @ 3440ultrawide

          Sure thing… doesn't matter to me, it's maxing out my monitors refresh rate for a buttery smooth experience, graphics are amazing and there's no latency or shader stutters so I'm happy! I give it a thumbs up

          edit: just turned off FG and it's hovering between 110-130. so FG is just boosting it to my gsync ceiling

            @jk82: Well in 5 years companies will release game so unoptimized that everyone needs dlss, then we are back at low fps even when using DLSS.
