  • $40 and brushless? Thats pretty impressive.

  • can you get an adapter that allows you to use Ozito batteries?

    • +1

wait for a deal where batteries come with it, for same price, eg: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/687967
… even looks like same unit rebadged.
plenty of adapters availble on ebay/marketplace/gumtree, eg: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/374784270988

      There's adapters on eBay.

    • It is better value to spend ~$50 more and buy the Ozito impact wrench with the 5 year replacement warranty.

The Ozito is 215Nm. I doubt the Topshak is a true 380Nm but will be more than the Ozito.
Get the Violeworks with batteries for same price as this skin (when on sale).

      • Ozito specs are never great. Which is a shame. Aldi Ferrex are always better specs and lower priced but have some weird compatibility with their own battery systems.

        Its all a game.

  • OP for $38 there is nothing wrong with this tool and I would buy it if I didn't already have a Bosch set.
But I would consider the Drillpro one which seems more powerful for a little more money.

    • That's pretty big though….
Love the"scattering radiation ray" it comes with lol

    • If the motor pictured is the real one, it's likely not brushless. Brushless motors of that size would typically be 3-phase, so 3 power leads/terminals, with an external ESC. That one looks like a standard DC brushed motor as it has vent ports and only two terminals.

  • I want the seesii Amazon model. The torque test channel rates then very highly, great bang for buck

Struggles compared to the Mak it's a clone off (have one of these clones and several Makitas)

18v Impact wrench for $40? Torque 380Nm? maybe 38.0Nm best?
    waste of $40.

    • Yep, Ozito with local 5 year warranty will be way better bet. This will end up in landfill.

      • If this one gets anywhere near the torque figures it gives, the Ozito one isn't really comparable. I agree though that this one will likely end up in the landfill and isn't really worth the money, but if I had Makita batteries and didn't already have a good impact gun, this would be tempting, especially if all I would ever use it for is changing or rotating tyres a couple of times a year.

  • Bought it, and it's junk. Couldn't get wheel nuts off, then when used to tighten them they were far from tight when nipped up by hand.

No torque figures to prove it, but i didn't need to bother. Off to get a real Makita (at a significantly higher price -but significantly more useful)
