I love how DoorDash suggests replacements in case it’s out of stock, classics like “paper towels” as a replacement.

    • +1

At least it’s paper. I’ve had Amazon suggest a set of spanners as a replacement for soft drink 😀

    • +6

At least they replace it. Ubereats sometimes do not and they charged me full price after the promo code becomes invalid cuz of their failure. Ubereats are bunch of scam artists

      • that's a bank error in your favour, if you message chat they'll refund you the promo amount plus you get to keep the useless item they subbed with

  • I got all 3 packs thanks

  • +1

It says not valid at my location parramatta

    • +1

Me too. Doesn't work for Westmead NSW

  • But then you miss out on the 10cent off your fuel ?

    • Nah that's not how it works

      • I had a similar experience in the past but maybe it's changed now so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt

        • You have to select "refund" in substitutions

If doordash has an item out of stock, your discount remains at a fixed dollar amount, your percentage off hence goes up, giving you a better deal (if you actually ordered other products).

  • How many months does this allow us to shit

    • +1

      yes

    • +4

IBS checking in - about a week or two.

  • Nice cheers OP

  • Coles Express has garbage range and garbage prices. I used my 50% off to get life milks for 95 cents each.

    • +3

I hate Italian food….. I'll have the lasagna please.

    • 95c + 12% service fee

  • +1

Thanks bought 4 packs of s**t tickets and can confirm I got a awkward smile from the dasher.

  • Not available at my location.

Is there a trick to getting the code to work?

    • Yep, try ordering via the mobile app instead of the desktop site. Had the same issue earlier and worked for me via the mobile app

      • No luck. In the app it just says something went wrong, network timed out

  • +1

    Hi….I'm new to Doordash.

I understand I get 2x $10 credits to use if I'm being referred.
Can I use the $10 to pay for this?

    • +1

Best way is to just add to the cart and check :)

  • Four minutes from my place is too far away. Hmmm! Tried my brother's address as he is two minutes away and that is also too far.

    • +2

Don't use link shared by OP, go back to doordash homepage, enter coles express page and update your address

      • Done that and still not working.

      • Thanks. I neglected to do what you said via the Coles Express page. All good now.

Add 2 bags of snake lollies for $1.50 each to maximise the discount and my sugar level :D

    • +2

I maximised the benefit by adding some turbo lax. Just one half teaspoon, for fast effective relief.

    • Link to snakes? I couldn't find it

      • Search for natural confectionery co products, their lollies are $3 each, then with code above became $1.50 a bag.

This pack of toilet paper is shit compared to their other brands.
I have this exact pack myself I bought like 2 months ago and the toilet paper feels like I bought home brand. Not that soft.

I'd choose 3 packs of Coles Spring Water 600ml 24 Pack over this. $18.75… Tho I would feel sorry for the Dasher so I'd have to tip.

    • +1

Out of curiosity, is it different from the quilton bought at coles supermarket?

      • +2

They have other brands so I'm not sure https://www.coles.com.au/search?q=quilton but yeah this exact toilet paper is very poor quality for the price they are selling them at. I'm someone that prefers soft toilet paper this one isn't soft.

  • Do they leave it at the door if you are not home? Sorry, new to this

  • $11 delivery and $4 service fee goes back up to $31.60

    • Free del for first order?

      • I've ordered from door dash before but not from Coles express on door dash. Anyway the op didn't mention that as a criteria. If it is, maybe an update should be made

        • That is odd. I tested the deal it came up as $20.61 exactly for me https://i.imgur.com/6gjo1Ic.png
I have DashPass tho so I'm not sure about you. Did you insert the code?

Also $11 delivery fee?? Where do you live?? o_o

        • +2

It's in the title "[DoorDash Pass]". If you have this, then there isn't any delivery fee, and a reduced service fee.

          • @F0rtitude: I'm very curious about that $11 delivery fee he is being charged with. I know Coles Express is expensive but I think they might be ripping him off. $11 delivery fee is disgusting coming from DoorDash.

          • @F0rtitude: I tried to claim the free pass. I think it might be that I claimed it before. As when I went to door pass again despite registering it is trying to now charge me so that might be the issue, I don't recall claiming the trial. My bad

  • PSA you will be charged for Pass despite what it says on the screen if you previously signed up for a free trial I believe.

  • Thanks OP, bought 3 packs.

  • Does anyone have "This address is out of the delivery area for this store." message when checking out?

No idea why, because there is a Coles Express less than 3km from my home.

    • +1

My link is specific to a store. Go back to doordash homepage, enter coles express page and update your address

      • Thank you, bought 3 packs!

  • May I ask why anyone is even wasting this deal on toilet paper? If you live alone 1 pack will last you months even with 2 people.

    • Well no need to buy until next 5 years LOL

    • +2

What are you using per wipe, like 3 squares?

      • 3 squares is like 9 ply… plenty just don't dig your fingers in.

  • Has this expired? I keep getting the message that promo code cannot be applied to this order.

    • T&C's states expiry is 6/8. Did you meet the minimum spend conditions for the promo code to work? otherwise, i don't know why it isn't working for you.

      • It seems expired, last night i was able to apply the discount. But now i got the time to actually order but shows "promotion currently not available"
        Ymmv

        • The promo appears to have been taken down early (maybe ozbargained). Yesterday I was able to apply the discount and saw the promo and August expiry but didn't order. Today the promo isn't available when I want to order

      • 3 packs of TP and a block of chocolate?

        • Well done. Did the code work in the end?

          • @trixieb: Had to go out so didn't get a chance to try again.

  • Not available in my location. I've not used DD, but how much are you supposed to tip? I presume there's an option

    • No mandatory tip. This is oz.

If you order very heavy items and lots of em then it's probably a good idea to tip e.g. A $5 tip on an order… I had to get this added on and the delivery driver messaged me their thanks and said its the first tip he had in hundreds of orders and this isn't America so isn't used to getting a tip but was very appreciative.

  • Sorry! This address is out of the delivery area for this store.

  • 3x packs delivered.

  • Can't apply promo code bummer!

  • Why i also can t apply promo code?

    • I think it has expired early. Also missed out

  • What a shame it expired. Was still working this morning but I fell asleep so I didn't get to use it then I woke up just now and the code has disappeared. Expired early.
    Typical DoorDash.
