  • Not many large men’s t-shirts left in stock

  • Thanks, worked for me and perfect for the teens swimwear :-)

  • +1

I bought some ck undies. Not very impressed with the fit and quality.

    • +2

Yes we'll , sometimes name brands are just "name brands"….

    • +2

They have very varying quality based on what you buy. If you get the three pack, its nothing better than bonds.

      • +2

I bought 8 of their modal boxer briefs during the previous FF sale for $12.5 each, down from $55 each. Excellent quality and they've held up very well.

Unfortunately the cheapest I'd get during this sale is $33 each, which is worth it compared to step one and similar brands, but still pricey.

      • +2

The quality of bonds is pretty good. They’re just common. They aren’t even overly cheap really tbh if not on sale.

    • This! i expected ck to be decent quality but everything i bought last time fit terribly and the customer service was bad. The items are not as described!

  • Thanks Op

  • OP do you have a copy of the email to show in store?
    They usually request the email.

    • This would be great.

    • I’ve put a screenshot in the post now :)

      • Thanks OP :)
Last time they asked for a barcode, is it not on the email this time?

        • There’s no barcode :)

          • @BargHunter100: The outlet wouldn’t accept it :(
But thanks anyway OP, I’ll just buy online

            • @Darkjimick: So strange. There’s definitely no barcode in the email and the T&Cs don’t mention a barcode being required.

            • @Darkjimick: May I know which outlet you tried it at?

          • +1

@BargHunter100: Hi Op, if you scroll down in the email, it should have a bar code. Last time the outlet asked for that barcode as they need to scan it. If not a problem, can you please upload that pic too? I need to go to the outlet. Thank you :)

            • @bigdig: This friends and family deal does not require a barcode. The previous ones did. I'm assuming it's because most employees just use the barcodes that are sticky taped in front of the register because the barcodes were blurry in the emails. I'm familiar with this because I have worked at the outlets. Trust me, all you need to do is show them the email this time.

These brands clothing would be good if you were going to a 90s theme party, or to wear to a Costco with your extended family in your Kia.

Had a $500+ order and when I went to the checkout they ask you to donate to LGB community so I cancelled it. I'm sick of this shit

    • +31

      Daddy not so chill.

      • +1

        This! Haha

    • -8

are you telling me you dont want to donate to the most supported and over represented community in the world? BIGOT!

    • +1

Pretty sure those donations are not mandatory.

      • -3

Just seeing another "woke" company was enough for me to cancel. It's time we cancel them

        • Get a life

        • +2

Most (if not all) public hospitals have a proactive diversity and inclusion policy. You want to cancel them too? Would you decline to be resuscitated by a gay doctor wearing a pride badge? And whilst you’re there may was well cancel the army, supermarkets and local council services. Ever thought maybe you need to chill @Daddy Chill?

    • +4

I had a 9 million dollar order until I saw how WOKE they are so instead I donated it to putin

    • +1

Was the problem that they are asking for a donation, or you disagree with their decision that a large subset of our community deserves the opportunity for support?

You mentioned them being "woke" in the comments so I'm pretty sure Its the latter?

      • +1

        Both.

        • +1

Interesting… to be honest I'm just a bit shocked that anyone could get so upset they would drop a $500 cart because a checkout window had an optional donation button… It's something that almost no one would pay attention to, or just ignore if they don't like the options

Like Woolworths (maybe Coles too) asks you to round up and donate to different charities all the time… If they pick one you disagree with would you leave your groceries and walk out?

          • @TheFlyingCoder: This is genuine curiosity btw, I'm trying to write in a non aggressive/judgemental manor 😅

            • -4

@TheFlyingCoder: Ok let me answer your question and this is only my opinion and I'm going to close this topic.

This is more about "wokeness" but it surpresses free speech and creates an environment where people have to be careful what they say just like now because people get offended. It also prioritises a group as opposed to the individual where each have their own sets of unique problems, lastly it creates a culture where people are always the victim and of course we know about cancel culture.

              • @Daddy Chill: Did the items in your bag have any colour or glitter or unicorn motif? Perhaps the AI thought you’d like to support your community?

            • +3

@TheFlyingCoder: I think it's about principle of not having to do with woke companies. Some people try to avoid buying from woke companies just like some of us try not to buy made in China products

              • @djmm: So I understand the personal decision to avoid companies that make business decisions designed to stroke the ego of one specific group while shaming anyone not in or supporting that group.

But we are talking about a brand that primarily targets Upper / Middle class, and likely just picked a popular donation target at random from a plugin.

Isn't this like, a pretty low bar for "wokeness"?

The energy just feels way too aggressive for the situation which is what confused me 😅

              • @djmm: So a strict diet of Weetbix and Coopers for you? (Not bought from Woolworths or Coles obviously)

                • @morse: You're not very good at reading are you

                  • @djmm: You’re not very good at thinking, are you?

  • +1

I would suggest if you have an AMEX card to purchase via MYAMEXSHOP and you'll get an extra 12.5% cash back as well!! (for TH)

    • Purchases made using discount codes or promotions, other than those supplied directly by MyAmexShop, may not be eligible for credit.

Unlikely to work but no harm in trying.

  • Got the last deal ULTRA SOFT MODERN LOUNGE JOGGERS and they're great, bought some more. The other shit I bought was meh.

  • I did end up buying like $460 worth of stuff at TH lol it is a bargain tho… $50 for a polo, $50 for a nice oxford shirt, $50 for a sweat shirt, $11 for 2 pairs of socks lol

    • +2

IMHO, the prices after 40% off are what they should be. I once bought 1 TH wool sweater, 2 packs of TH socks, 1 CK jean, 1 box of CK undies and 2 CK t-shirts for about 110 USD. At that time, aussies were stronger than usd, so I paid less than 110 aud for all of these. These brands are crazy here.

  • +2

Can't get past TH since they started selling their clothes at Costco

    • +8

I mean, you can also buy Sony, Samsung, Xbox, Nintendo, PlayStation, Dyson, etc at Costco so not sure what the logic is here.

      • Tech brands are different.
A lot of designer clothing brands are made under licence in sweatshop factories. They have very little to do with the original designers, they cashed in their chips years ago to hedge funds which will license the name to anything as long as there is a return on the investment. There is a perception of status or affluence in buying designer brands, once you dump them at at Costco or similar, there is little aspirational desire to have them. They are cheap clothes with a label, if anyone can afford them what is their perceived value?

    • Came here to say that. Cheaper TH and CK in costco.

  • +1

Maybe if I wear Tommy Hilfiger I will be as happy and attractive as the people in the thumbnail.

  • The men's shirts are dreadful.

    • -8

      You mean "them" shirts

      • If it makes you feel better, it's going to 'pants' all data gathering assessment entities… I mean, how does health insurance risk asses someone who identifies their gender as a 3 toe flying unicorn F' Wizard? Perhaps, and somewhat ironically, they will be marginalised and grouped as "other" etc. Don't know.
In reality, we got ourselves in "trouble" by creating these labelling human subsets, and the answer seems to be create more? I would think it makes more sense to remove them. Ie. no genders at all, so we are all just "they"?
Funny thing us humans. Forever seeking equality and social justice, in a world that is based on pyramid economics, genes and survival of the fittest.
I actually have no issue giving people empowerment, where they normally wouldn't. But I also know it doesnt really change anything long term, as you likely make another minority elsewhere. But that is the dynamic nature of such things. Vote with your feet (as you have), and let the rest of the world do it's latest thing.

  • Adding the code appears to remove the 10% off for VIP

    • It's only one or the other. If you are an employee, another 10% (on top of the already 40%) applies at checkout.

  • hows the quality of VH blazers?

  • CK - still no issue. Bought some undies using this code last time, going good so far.

TH - not happy with quality. Baseball Cap was really good, but beanie - got a hole on top in 15 days of wear. Other clothing also not good if you buy average priced items.

  • Says Mens Clothing but photo has a pretty ambiguous looking thing

  • Bought me a new pair of bathers! Finally I can stop wearing my gym shorts to swim!

  • Yea bought a bunch of stuff from Tommy, quality is average… sizing way too big vs size chart.

    CK stuff much better.

  • code doesn’t work?

    • Deal ended on the 19th. They had a 50% off friends and family in May so maybe they'll have another in a few months time?
