Until you need to migrate to a new hub. Sigh.
I hear you.. but once you’re on ZHA there’s no reason to move
Zigbee2mqtt / zha ;)
Wow so cheap
Good price, which I had GU10s instead of GU5.3 fittings.
I mean… if you got plug tops in the ceiling it can easily be achieved :)
I think their 12V transformers are all hardwired. :(
You can change them over:

Electrician, or DIY at own risk.I'm happy with these ones myself:

https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Hue-White-Spotlight-Blueto…That is v2 ones, only difference i can see is 50lm brighter
Thanks OP. Max 5 pp.
Wow. This is cheap. Bought 4 for the kitchen to replace the existing. Thanks Op! Great find!!
Get in quick!!
already showing Temporarily out of stock!!!
Thought I had these but I have MR16s - damn
Got my MR16 lights and transformers switched to GU10 as part of the LED Upgrade Program which is running in NSW (and other states).
Thought that was only for halogens. My MR16s are LEDs
@slimjim which company did you use? I'd be interested to do do that as well.
I got my done cheap under the LED upgrade programme, as my home had halogen downlights. It's a $33 fee and the new LED bulbs are free. If the existing transformers aren't suitable for LEDs they switch them to GU10 for $10 per downlight. Later on, I swapped the dumb lights for with Philips Hue and Ikea Tradfri.
(I think) this is the company which I used, from a flyer in the mailbox: https://accreditedpower.com.au/led-lighting/nsw-home-led-upg…
There's links on the site for other states also. They'll organise a local sparky to do the job.Any sparky would be able to do it, if you don't qualify for the programme, but expect to pay a bit more.
fantastic price, missed the boat..
Missed the boat x 2 :(
X3
Need Yeelight with another 70% off cracker
Some Bunnings are running these out too, I picked up three for $10 ea yesterday (all of the stock from the local Bunnings).
Which Bunnings? my local one shows $59 each
These were on the discount stock table with the yellow Bunnings clearance stickers on them. "Was $21.61 Now $10"
Three discount stickers on top of each other: was 43 now 21, then was 43 now 16 and finally was 21.61 now 10.YMMV.
price is about right, from their extreme wrong RRP!
Does this work in a metallic body.
I bought the ones from Costco, the VTEC gu10, they do not work well in up/down outdoor lights. All my outdoor up down lights use these. No issues.
FWIW https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B099NQTD4G/?th=1 - $54.16 for a box of two. Buy two boxes and get 5% off from Amazon Germany. Buy three boxes (so 6 lights) and get 10% from Amazon Australia and the 5% off. So total of $162.48 discounted to $138.11 = $23.02 each. Not the cheapest deal ever, but not too shabby.
Make that now $36.86 = $93.99 after discount so $15.67 each. Just cancelled my first order and repurchased.
