Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Another short and sweet for you. It's been a couple of months since our last Brazil São Paulo and Swiss Water Process Decaf deal. We've recently been getting a lot of requests to bring this deal back. You asked, we've listened, so here we go :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and our Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee:

1) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

2) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $16.49 per 500g (usually $27.49 per 500g), and $29.39 per 1kg (usually $48.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 24/07/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Monday in July. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packing (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

Following the success of our recent trials of new shipping rates, we've decided to extend these for this deal too :)

    • Hey @andrewlai I'm glad you reach out to check, better safe than sorry is always the best policy!

From our options "Plunger Grind" should be the winner for you :)

    Hi there,

What's the best grind size for an automatic coffee machine (Philips Lattego)? Need some help with choosing the right one please.

Very interested in buying a 500g decaf coffee but need to choose between different grind types.

Hey @ktabz terrific to hear that you're keen on our SWP Decaf!

Appreciate the check in. Espresso grind will suit your machine best out of our pre-ground options. However, I believe your machine has a grinder, as such I'd high recommend you selecting beans instead of ground :)

  • Thanks for the Decaf deal coming

    • You're most welcome @myovoz I'm very happy to hear this deal's a winner for you :)

  • Always forget about the Tim tam you include. Catches me by surprise every time. Love a Tim tam slam!

    • Hey @budgetgaming what a nice notion. I think life's little surprises are always special (well the positive ones are), so I hope our complimentary Tim Tams continue to surprise you :)

  • Interested in giving these beans a shot, can these be filter brewed with a v60?

    • Morning @aeterno138 that sounds terrific, these can 100% be used for pour over/V60. A pour over was my brekkie this morning :)

  • When's the next frequent buyer club deal Tom?

Thx for the promo. We love the nature washed beans.

Hey OP, do you have any recommended settings (grind #, ratio, etc.) for espresso on the Breville Barista Express for the Brazil São Paulo Single Origin beans. Purchased a bag last week but need some assistance dialing it in. Thanks!

    • Would like to know this also. Was previously using the Airjo Sumatra beans with a grind size of 10 - 12 and seemed to be dialed in with a good crema. Similar settings for the san Paolo beans don’t seem to work and it tastes off.

      • Hey @mrlubba appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you truly for your order!

We generally don't comment on other companies, so I won't get I to specific comparisons. Grind settings are impacted by many factors e.g. roast profile, time since roasting, varietal, process…so much so that I'm not surprised a new batch of fresh coffee will need somewhat different settings to a different prior coffee you used. Good news is you should be able to dial in our fresh coffee nice and quickly. I'd recommend following our brew guide as the most efficient and best resulting approach to dial in our coffee.

Do you have the exact same machine as @bayleyb ? If not, could you please let me know what machine and grinder do you have?

    • Hey @bayleyb thank you so much for your order, it really does mean so much!

Appreciate you taking the time to reach out. The specific grind setting depends on the calibration and sharpness of your burrs e.g. 2 Barista Express machines next to one another may need different grind setting to achieve the same yeild:contact time ratio.

As your machine has a 54mm basket I'd recommend starting with a 16 grams dose, below are the brew guide recommendations specially for the Barista Express:

-Black guide 16 grams ground coffee : 32 grams espresso : extracted of 27 seconds

-White (milk based) guide 16 grams ground coffee : 16 grams espresso : extracted of 18 seconds : topped up with 150-200 grams of textured 63 degree C milk

Please feel welcome to send a reply email to your order confirmation should you have any further questions :)

      • Thabks ! Yes same machine !

  • Would love to know how does this Brazil SO compare to Airjo Sumatra blend?

  • Anyone has issues with delivery? Limeblue uses Courier's Please and it says delivered on the website, I was at home at the time so pretty confident they didn't come lol.

Looking at other Limeblue posts I saw some comments when people had similar issues in the past.. Sigh I should've checked before buying.. my beans:(

    • Hey @cryptonoob thank you so much for your order and I appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Don't worry we'll get this sorted for you ASAP :)

If you haven't already please send a reply email to your order confirmation. If you've already reached out, then we'll already in the process of following up your query.

In terms of issues with Couriers Please compared to other companies, they have roughly the same amount of issues as other delivery companies such as Australia Post. However, the resolution system is generally a bit better with Couriers Please, as they have photo proof of delivery plus GPS pin pointing delivery e.g. if it was delivered to the wrong address they'd know where it was delivered and have a photo of the incorrect address; plus there's negative implications for franchisees with repeat issues. Overall we see a bit under 1% of deliver issues across all carriers, be it damage, lost parcels or incorrect deliveries. We think 1% is still too much, as it doesn't make for a smooth delivery experience for customers and adds up costing us thousands of dollars a year to rectify.

All that said for future reference, if you specifically don't want Couriers Please you can select Australia Post or Express shipping at the checked. The No Delivery Company Preference is based on an algorithm determined by a number of continually changing factors, so just because you got Couriers Please this time doesn't mean you'll get it again.

  • Data point: Couriers Please. SE Melb to E Melb. Booked 8-9am today, arrived 2-3pm today.

    • Morning @Gav that's absolute music to my ears, love a speedy delivery, thank you so much for sharing that terrific feedback!
