If you buy 250g packs at a cafe, you’ll pay around $15-18, which per kilo is this. Shipping also has a cost.
Having said that, usually it's a single Origin at this price but maybe this is a very good blend. I’d buy it to try but I still have a fair bit of beans left. Last time I bought more at this stage and my new beans sat in the cupboard for a month or more and lost character.

Comparing 250g costs to 1kg cost isn’t really a fair comparison, just like OP has 500g packs which work out to be higher per kilo.
Last I checked, a lot of the 'specialty' roasters across Australia are around the ~$60-65/kg range for their espresso blends, more for their SOs—-and these shops virtually never have discounts. IIRC the highest I've seen in supermarkets is Campos in the $50 range, then there's a noticeable price gap to all the other supermarket beans and OzB favourites.
