I bought pretty much this exact laptop from jbhifi in 2021, but it had a 4k screen. As far as an every day driver, it's wonderful.
The screen is a ghosting nightmare for sports. I wish I had tested this before hand. Id say the above 1080p has less chance of this issue, maybe.
I love the look and feel of these laptops, and 13.3 inch is super convenient for travel.
It seems to have a Thunderbolt 4 port so can you charge the laptop itself via usb C ?
Always thought tb4 doesnt guarantee usbc charging. May be wrong but this does pd and yes it charges vic usbc
Yeah, thats what I thought, but I have tried charging that way, and it doesn't love it. If I remember correctly, it said something about using the correct charger and rejected it.
Yeah, usb c/pd charging can be fussy with type of charger needed as companies want you to purchase theirs.
Still good to know it is capable as some usb c/pd charging Only works one way output, not input charging
the device itself. Can you check your charger to see what voltage that is ?
According to HP it should support USB-PD

Cool. I'm going to have another look at mine tonight and see if I can hook it up to USB c again. Thanks!
What is the retail on this?
Can RAM be upgraded?
I don't believe so
Damn need at least 16gb
Agreed. The ram certainly let's it down.

Bought this 15" Dell with the same specs with 15% cashback, but very plasticky for the entire laptop. This is not a touch screen though? The HP seems to be touch screen enabled.
Can anyone confirm if this is Australian stock with HP warranty?
OOS seems to be
Still waiting for mine to ship, has anyone received theirs? What’s your thoughts on it?
Cheap laptop with a decent screen
