That's because the only people that have ever purchased it are all north of 85 years old. They used it when they were pier fishing in their local area back when Carter was POTUS and Whitlam was PM.

edit. You got me jv. You completely changed your comment. 😂🤣

        Whitlam was PM.

        This has AM/FM.

        No mention of PM.

Look at the stock photos on the listing. All looks like some cult level shit.

I own a few shortwave radios, Tecsun PL-310 and PL-330 and a ATS-20. The community is still going strong i met a few people who own shortwave station in Australia.

  • Power supply method
    UM3 AA 1.5V *2
    AC cable for charging

    but further down it says:

    What are in the box?
    1 x XHDATA D-219 Radio Gray
    1 x Instruction manual

Might be better to spend a bit extra and get the Tecsun R909, the D108 and D109 are also on sale.
Not sure how good the tuning is with the analogue dial and DSP.

  • wait until you hear about smart phones, radio apps, Spotify etc. This is like buying a facsimile machine or a TomTom.

Unless you want to listen to the footy live at the game…

Still a few applications such as power outages in the country.
We had one for several days once

    • Got one for the local footy here in Tassie. There's a delay on the radio streams.

  • What are the best FM stations for sports? Thanks OP!
