I nearly bought this last night at EB games for $29.95. Pretty pleased that I didn't now.

I loved The Darkness so I'm hoping this is just as good. The ranking on gamerankings.com seems OK enough for me to assume it's at least a worthy sequel. Sequel reviews tend to allways result in saying how it is a much better game than the first, yet fell short of their expectations. So in the end they admit it is better than the first, yet still give it a worse rating than the first :S. So the fact it scores less than The Darkness doesn't worry me.

      Following on from this it's actually $12.49 USD in the American Steam store if you have a friend who can gift/trade you a copy. IIRC VPN/Proxying and getting it yourself is against their EULA, but gifting is not. It's a shame how publishers give us unfair pricing when it's Digital content.

        From the rules: Is this deal available to Australia?
        I've messed around with bypassing region stuff on steam and it resulted in me giving up and politely requesting steam to remove it so I could just purchase it legit. Might be for some people, but I'm never going near stuff like that again

          the key you purchase on amazon is usable on AU accounts.

          this is not 'messing around with bypassing region stuff on steam', it is if anything messing with amazon and they appear to not care at all.

          the account you create for this sole purpose of puchasing games (do not use an existing account) needs a US address for 'delivery'. You are only buying a CD Key off amazon and using your usual AU credit card and address for that.

        you are choosing the wrong the item, you just choose the PC download option and it is $9.99 USD. That is it. No delivery.

          And I know what you're saying, but I've just have bad experiences where you have to find a work around so prefer to steer clear of anything slightly related to that.

      The game is quite fun, it has a good story and looks awesome. But it's unbelievably SHORT!
