How it Works: An Eligible Participant must successfully complete the following during the Qualification Period to qualify for a Reward:

    “Eligible Participant”: Only open to Australian residents who: (1) are eighteen (18) years of age and older; (2) are the holders of an Australian PayPal Personal Account in good standing (“Valid Account”); (3) are opted in to receive PayPal marketing (see Miscellaneous below); and, (4) see an authorized Paid media ad, Google Play in-app banners, PayPal Landing Page, PayPal email, PayPal deals or PayPal in-app banner containing the invitation to participate in the offer (“Invitation”) (eligibility for/those who receive such a link will be determined solely by PayPal).

    “Qualification Period”: Starts on 03 July 2023 at 12:00:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) and ends at 10:59:59 p.m. AEST on 25 December 2023 or until all Rewards are claimed.

Rewards will be viewable in the “Offers” section of the Eligible Participant’s Valid Account The Reward must be redeemed during the Redemption Period and may only be redeemed as described in these terms & conditions. Use of the Reward will be reflected on the Eligible Participant’s PayPal receipt and/or in the transaction details of his/her Valid Account. Rewards should post to your account within approximately three (3) days (of being claimed) but may take up to two (2) weeks and must be redeemed no later than 5 February 2024. There is a limit of one (1) Reward per Valid Account. Only 20,000 Reward redemptions are available during the Qualification Period; Rewards will no longer be awarded once the limit is reached.

    Miscellaneous: An Eligible Participant must be opted in to receive PayPal marketing before making an Eligible Transaction. Participants can opt in to PayPal marketing by selecting Marketing preferences under their Profile in their PayPal account. Redemptions are final. The Reward has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred out of the Eligible Participant’s Valid Account, except in PayPal’s sole discretion. If item(s) purchased using a Reward are returned and the Redemption Period has expired, PayPal will refund the money spent to the payment method used to complete the Eligible Purchase and purchase amount in excess of the Reward (i.e., the value of the purchase amount less the Reward amount) and the Reward will not be refunded. If the Redemption Period has not expired, the value of the Reward will be returned to the Offers section of the Valid Account and will be available for use by the account holder. PayPal may, at its discretion, provide an alternate reward of equal value if it is unable for any reason to fulfil the Reward. PayPal reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify this offer in part or in its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run at the same time; qualification for this offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. PayPal is not responsible and/or liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected e-mail, Reward, or offer-related materials or correspondence or if any participant’s e-mail address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without the participant giving prior written notice to PayPal.       I didn't get the original email or see the banner, so I took the gamble anyway. I did an in app purchase,
      Received the $10 voucher email today 6 days later and have applied to account, the voucher is valid for 30 days.

    Got my $10 on 6th day. To clarify you will receive a PayPal reward voucher, not a cash balance in your PayPal account. The PayPal reward voucher won’t be able to be transferred to bank accounts or other PayPal accounts.

      contacted google support, they said to contact paypal

      then message paypal, and rewards issued not long after messaging them

      they explained that, no email in my case, paypal said need the said marketing email on email inbox(as op posted), but they still issued a one time courtesy voucher right after

      you could try your luck if the rewards bait to "connect paypal" did appear when paying on your android phone

    The promotion only applies for your very first purchase on Google Play using PayPal. If you have used PayPal to pay on Google Play in the past, this promotion is not applicable.

        I made a purchase last night. The Email clearly says capped at 20,000 redemptions only. Im just starting to realize that is very low number and probably already reached the cap! Mind you I got the email on the 29/09 and today is 10/10

          I never actually received an email, I found this offer when I was attempting to buy in app purchase and it showed up saying if I bought something over $3 they'd give me a $10 voucher. I didn't receive the voucher so I searched up the offer and found this OzBargain post.

    I didn't actually get the email but I found that I am actually eligible. You should be able to check eligibility for yourself via the Google Play app:
    * Open the Google Play app
    * Open options menu by tapping on your profile picture (top right corner)
    * Go to 'Payments and subscriptions'
    * Tap on 'Payment methods'
    * Under 'Add payment method to your Google Account' you should see this if you're eligible
