This is Ciela's opinion, from Whirlpool:

At $100, it is pretty much guaranteed to be junk

I just did a Google search on it… just LOVE some of the info available on it.. such as the "dual core" battery, and supposedly being worth $506 (oh come now, does anyone honestly believe that?)

Followed links to the Evorea website, which is pretty much just a landing page and nothing more. No detailed specs available at all.. just "1ghz cpu" and "1gb ram" is about all you get

Given the price, that it is from a "company" that appears to have no web presence, and the price, the most likely scenario is this:

Unlicensed copy of the play store (this is pretty much a guarantee with almost every one of these cheap tablets)
Low resolution screen (the cheap 7" ones tend to stick with 800x480… nasty!).. even ones that claim a "HD" screen often lack it
Slow single-core processor ("1ghz" doesnt tell you a whole lot really)
    No GPS
    No bluetooth

    • So apart from that it sounds great :-)

    • I bought a "newsmy" 7inch tablet from ebay for about $68 which is not junk. Research for bargains can pay off but don't discount something just because it's cheap.

  • I've taken off any reference to $506, but as educated OzBargainians, I wouldn't expect anyone to believe the RRP

An Elf II for similar or Aurora II for a bit more money is a far better option, this might be ok for kids to destroy if it was $60 - $70 or thereabouts.

Get Aniol Fire for around $150.

        HAHAHAHAHAHA

      • I always confuse about the name should be Ainol.

        • It is, but it shouldn't be.

  • Dual-core 1024x768 Ramos W17Pro with 16GB flash for $119…

    • 1024 x 600 according to the specs.

      • Yes of course, sorry. Too many years of 4:3.

      • that 600 vertical includes the status bar right? so even less useable space :(

  • Neg for the supplier's false/fake 'normal' pricing.

Neg for the deal site's 30% commission.

  • Powered by a built in dual-core lithium battery, the Evorea Tablet PC has an astounding standby time of more than 100 hours

100 hours standby from a dual core battery. What is this, I don't even…

  • "This could be a fantastic deal"…it sure could if it was 2010.
