    Same price as JB: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/samsung-jet-60-lite-stick…
I was tempted to buy one, but it does not appear to come with attachments like a crevice tool and according to one of the reviews, accessories are not available to buy separately.

      Same price as JB:

Do they also deliver for free?

      • I usually click and collect, but last time I had a delivery it was only $5 from memory.

It's only an option for people to consider.

Personally, I would buy from JB in case there is a problem with the item.
Last year I purchased an item from Amazon and found a cheaper model in the delivered package. Amazon offered an amount for return postage, but it proved to be insufficient and I was out of pocket by around $14 in the end, and it was Amazon's fault for delivering the wrong item.

Thanks for confirming delivery isn't free with jb. I just checked and delivery for metro Melbourne is about $10.

Amazon have always covered my return shipping even when i returned something to usa… they have given me something extra all of the times when they have made a mistake.

JB is a good option if you have discounted gift cards though and if you dont need the delivery

  • What is amazons warranty procedure? I tried to return another item and couldnt see any option to do so or contact the seller after a month

    • Just chat with Amazon or call them and they should help you.

Also the procedure might be a bit different based on who is selling. In this case it's sold and fulfilled by Amazon, so that should make things easier if it gets to that.

Customer service of Amazon drops dramatically recently. Was great but now is quite crap. Cant fix any issue thru the phone call. The operator will quickly ends up the talk and let u wait for the emails which will ask you all details at second time. Quite retarded double efforts. Better go JB in person

      • Still better than eBay.

        • If one has eBay Plus, I would say not. I recently had to return a mini trampoline and all I had to do with eBay was print out the return slip and drop the package off at the post office. I was not a cent out of pocket and the process was relatively stress free, unlike my experience with Amazon last year. That said, I’ve only ever needed to return that one item to Amazon over the years, and Amazon’s delivery policy under Prime is the best around.

      • i did contact live chat today because a microphone i bought (still in warranty) is playing up recently, and they actually transferred my chat to someone who asked me to contact the manufacturer :| gone are the days of return/refund first up, unless ive reached a certain return limit or something lol

asked me to contact the manufacturer

thats against the accc and illegal as amazon au is operating as a registered australian business. AU businesses are responsible to remedy product issues, consumers can willingly go to the manufacturer if they desire

          • @dfg555: Actially, it depends on the terms of the warranty agreed at time of purchase. Contrary to popular belief, a "manufacturers warranty" is legal. Different if its DOA though. I know no ozbargainer wants to hear this

            • +1

@richieisnow: No. Warranties are voluntary, ACL overrides whatever "legal" statements manufacturer's warranties contract. https://business.gov.au/legal/fair-trading/australian-consum…

I've gotten plenty of electronics replaced/refunded even though some were out of warranty or had a significant limited time enforced on their "warranties" simply by arguing ACL and Ombudsman to the Retailers/Manufacturers.

"Warranties" mean jack shit for Australian Businesses.

I returned an item for the first time with Amazon recently. I purchased a kettle the other week. Went throught the initial setup of the appliance and it had a power fault.
I jumped on the Amazon app on my phone, went through the questionaire and said it was faulty and that I want to return it for the same item. I had no questions asked. I even got the replacement item before I got around the sending the faulty one. So my experience with the returns was fine.

  • Is this 150W suction power equals AW suction power from Dyson? Seems every brand uses different unit to measure / advertise their products. So confusing.

Jet 60 has same power as jet 70?

    • +2

I have the Jet 60 pet which is the same vac but with different attachments. It does a good job but run time at max setting could be longer. Suction power is overrated imo what's important is how effective the vac head is. On our carpet I find it easily picks up fluff where my roidmi xiaomi vac wouldn't.

    • AW is air watts (measurement of the energy per unit time of the air flowing through an opening),
W is electrical wattage (power from voltage and current).

I wonder how much better it is than OzBargains renowned Viomi A9

Bought this last year, absolutely garbage, can only work with a small amount of pet hair.
Cleaning the device is convenient though.
Now upgraded to Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

    • Thank you, reviews based on ownership is always helpful. I don't have pets, so will see how mine goes.
