It's under the price
thanks for clarifying @c9 and @bigAlOz.
Thanks bought 2! Seems a decent price.
A cheap way to warm you up
So hot, looks like it will hit front page soon
Price is more important than safety to many people
Using the same bad joke seems to be more important than anything.
@digitalbath: It's not a joke.
It was a fact
@SpeedRunnerLink: Maybe a fact. But “awareness” isn’t the reason people keep posting the same boring comments.
@digitalbath: Comments are hurting anyone.
Let them post away
Yes Janet, life's pretty cheap to that type.
💣 💣 💣 💣 💣 😫 💣 💣 💣 💣 💣
I have a similar one. They are quite good, but quite heavy. Built in power points in hotel desks work well with them, because gravity isn't trying to pull them out of the socket onto the ground.
Friends dont let friends buy Heymix.
these are the ones that were 2 for $3 something a few weeks ago which i bought. i have to say they felt a bit cheap. was ok at that price i bought it for but not at this price
Why didn't you post it?
It was posted by someone. That's how I knew
I missed it.
@jimojr: Can those who downvoted me find the link? Thanks.
@jimojr: It wasn't a main post. It was in limited deals thread. Also, It wasn't me who neg you btw
@ironworthy: do you have the link?
@ironworthy: Voted by 3 other users.
@jimojr: Do upvotes or downvotes have any practical effect on this forum?
(Serious question)
@rumblytangara: No… just super sensitiveness
@rumblytangara: For downvotes on a deal post made by a store rep, too many on multiple posts will lead to that store getting banned
For comments, a low score gets your comment hidden by default
It may also hurt the feelings of the downvoted.
I'll leave this here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/13851057/redir
It was.
Just over $3 for two. I chose a black and a white.
where was the post? Couldn’t find it.
it was the doweyy post in the amazon insufficient quantity deals 5/6/23 - 2 for $3.88. I had grabbed 2 from that deal.

@johnmelb: thanks, I've got to learn how to direct link to a comment/post
@Dolt2020: Click on the time next to the name, then copy ;-)
@johnmelb: got it!. Awesome - thanks so much
D.
As long as you keep an eye on Heymix, they are fine.
I personally haven't had any hearing or 'fire' issues with them but have people complain about it online and on ozb.Yes, because I've got nothing better to do than sit and watch a device charging. Just in case.
Still better than watching the house burn from the space, astronaut!
I got two items of hey mix so far no issues. Used this travel adapter lamt month travelling too. Works well. YMMV
Got one, perfect timing for me.
Username something something
Nice to see you again, thugmander91. Saw you made another account not even 24 hours ago and back at it again.
Honestly, can’t fault you for working hard defending Heymix and spamming that a Pixel phone exploded in illinos or some other place to earn social credit. Life must be tough for you
@ExplodedPixel: Btw, your pixel phone probably had its battery exploded because of your shoddy Heymix charger. Why would you buy a Pixel phone in the first place, Google is not the first brand that comes to your mind when thinking about their legacy in the smartphone market. They especially disregard privacy of its users as a brand. Should of just got an iphone or your favourite, a Huawei, both would’ve been safe.
@FrugalFindsDownUnder: Nah, he should have got a Heymix phone
@ExplodedPixel: dear, I never had one, I don’t like Pixel phones. You did. Why did you have one in the first place is what I am asking my friend…
@ExplodedPixel: But uh, I thought you made some comments that you have one that exploded. Anyways, great that you don’t own one, isn’t it?
I got one, for 12.50, cant really fault it.. Will be using it in Japan
Same
Where will you get the other 120v ?
Someone with it, can you tell me what are the usb voltage/amp output? Is it QC/PD or just normal usb output?
Any, both ways, look at the photo and description, you lazy OzB
So this model is compatible with both AU/USA/EU/UK wall sockets? The plug legs?
Yes
50% chance to cause a fire
I think we need to move on from this.
Do we really?
If a brand has been anywhere as unreliable as people say, then perhaps they just deserve to die in ridicule for having palmed of shoddy equipment in the first place.
It's highly unlikely that there's been a sudden about face within a cheap and terrible Chinese brand where the management suddenly decided to focus on quality.
It either catches on fire or it doesn't
Wow…50% indeed :)
No longer has the 50%, or am I missing something? It's black version has 30% off still
I think it’s gone
It's gone, black one here is 30% https://www.amazon.com.au/HEYMIX-Universal-Adapter-Internati…
Still have 4 unopened from the last deal 😂😂😂
HEYMIX power boards and usb chargers have been terrible in my experience, random ports started dying or not performing at the charge rate claimed. Left one star reviews on their products and was offered a full refund but did not take it.
I am staying away from their stuff now…
Was the refund conditional on removing the review?
They told me to reply to get a full refund and that was the message, not really telling me to remove the review but I guess that would be next.
What kind of things are you guys using this for?
I am finding that I don't really need to take adapters anymore when I travel. Really the only device that I need is usb c …which my phone's in-box supplied adapter suffice (67W, so good enough even for my laptop). So I just need to take that. Just get a cheap pin adapter if in need from local convenience store. YMMV of course depending on which countries you goto.
I was thinking along the same lines as you until I realised that I need to take my Philips shaver overseas and that device needs an adapter of some sort.
I remember the days of when my dad would travel with his electric shaver. I just get a pack of cheap disposable razor at the destination…been doing that for decades, works great and no need for the weight of the shaver in my carry on.
I read it as Char Gerking
Bought one. Probably only ever use it as a pin adapter, but nice to know that if I forget or get desperate, also has USB ports.
So much criticism on this, but no one seems to propose an alternative
I bought this after deal was posted on Ozb sone time back. Took it in my travel last month. Worked well. But it's abit bulky if people like smaller adapters.
its 40% off now…
bought
thanks opthanks Jimojr, just grabbed for 14.99
Burning the house became 50% cheaper
For those wondering usb power out put for USB C and A ports… it is 8w
so it's not that strong
Not sure if I have missed anything but I can't seem to find the "Apply 50% coupon" button.
