I would say go for the largest size you can? as it will last few years.
What has size to do with longevity?
I think hes saying that it'll last so long you wont have to replace it for years, so you may as well buy the bigger more enjoyable tv instead of getting rid of a good working 75" when down the track you decide an 85 is better.
@Raphete: That still doesn't make sense as bigger tv in small space is pretty much unwatchable.
Yes I will say it, bigger doesn't mean better.
Keep in mind bigger the tv the worse the backlight will fair as this is edge lit tech. Smaller is better with edge lit up to x85.
X90 is full array
X95 is mini led
Better seal at HN/JB for newer X90K model with 22% off when combine TV & Soundbar
https://www.harveynorman.com.au/sony-75-inch-x90k-4k-uhd-ful…
They all sealed mate. If not sealed you can claim it’s not brand new and ask to change another one.
I think he meant 'sale'
Might had meant 'deal' instead of 'seal'
*deal.
Look at the bigger picture mates 😜($2495 + $245 [2.0bar]) - 22% = $2137.20
vs $1699 + $245 + $65 costco = $2009.00
or $1699.99 + $294.99 [2.1bar] + $65 costco = $2059.98 … or
($1699.99 + $294.99 [2.1bar]) - 2% + $130 executive costco = $2085.08
MATHED.
At JB it's X80L [2023] for the same HN price of $2495: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/sony-75-x80l-bravia-led-4… - but it doesn't get the 22% discount.
$1000 off
Take that with a grain of salt. Some store person added an extra 0. Sony web site lists it for $1795. Plus there’s CR 10% cash back every other week for Sony store!
But the 75x90k which is full array local dimming, goes on sale between 1700-1800 many times throughout the year. I would skip this deal and wait for that.
$1399 delivered from Sony eBay Store (Box Damaged) with code SNSOJUL
Is it the box damaged or the tv damaged?
The brain actually
Thanks. Bought one off the Sony eBay store for $1399. Seems to be the cheapest Sony 75 inch TV I have seen by about $300.
Just had the TV delivered to my house. Supposedly Box Damage as described from the Sony Ebay store. The box was in pristine condition with no damage, box was sealed and TV packaged as new.
Was comparing this model and KD65X75K. Can't justify to paying double for extra 10 inch screen. LOL
KD-65X80K (65") was very similar to KD65X75K in spec and review but have to pay extra.
end up buying Sony 65" X75K BRAVIA LED 4K UHD HDR Google TV KD65X75K for $761 when on sale and stack with JB GC.Is this recent?
yes, last weekend
Got 85kfor 1695 with eBay July code
RBA is right.. more rate hikes coming
Can anyone confirm if this has HDMI 2.1?
How does this compare to the 9000h?
9000h is full array. This will be a downgrade
BETTER DEAL: Get Sony to pricematch.
This is Costco, so don't forget the $65 membership fee, so $1764.99 if you're not a member.
If you have the $130 executive membership, you get 2% back, I think, making this $1665.99 ($1795.99)HOWEVER, you can also buy it direct from Sony who have it on sale for $1,795.00. they MIGHT price match (some OzBargainers have been successful), AND they offer free shipping. AND you can get 2% cashback with Cashrewards (or 2 Qantas Points per $1 with Qantas Shopping).
So, from Sony, that's $1699.99 - $34 = $1665.99 with free shipping.
[3398 Qantas points are worth about $102 towards a business class flight, or $34-$50 towards an economy flight, or $17 in cash]
Not a great panel just FYI: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x80k
