  • why TGG deal is more accessible to the population ?

    if you price match Sony
do you get a code that can be used later on?
and how long the code last?

so Bing Lee don't do interstate orders / delivery ?

wow thought Bing Lee was all the states..
not sure why they would want to lose out in sales on a rich state like WA (with all that mining cash)

We're fussy about who can cross our border!

      • No Bing Lee in Vic either if I'm not mistaken.

        • One in Wodonga.

  • how do you price match with Sony? Do we have to visit store?

    • On their online store website

  • Thoughts on this vs a LG or Samsung? Pretty much all the 2023 models left now so hard to catch a deal

I asked for a price match last Sunday with the Good Guys perks offer. They replied on Tuesday. Don't forget to use cashrewards for another 10% back.

  • I am still questioning, "this or Samsung QN95B"? Rtings suggests this one is somewhat inferior to Samsung. Can anyone share their experience?

    • +1

IIRC the QN95B didn't release the 85 inch to the Australian market so do you mean the 75"?
Samsung do this really annoying thing where they ship different panels to different markets
Now Rtings is based on the VA panel that went to the US market, my understanding is Australia did not get the VA panel and instead got the inferior IPS panel.

That said I'd still rather a mini-LED than a full array

I think all QN95B were VA panels - or at least the 75inch in Australia was. Cant find any in stock anywhere though.

        • There were people an the AV forums that claimed to have gotten IPS QN95B in Australia, idk if true but Samsung wont tell u the panel type which seems quite telling.
Another hint is that Samsung dont make IPS 85” panels and 85” is the size they dont ship to Australia

      • Yes. You are correct. They don't have 85" available in Australia. I guess that leaves me to think to look into X95K for a bright living room.

  • Can't decide this or the Samsung Q70C 85 which is the same price? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd say much of a muchness. You could compare warranty. Or maybe local dimming may sway you to buy the Sony. Personally, I'd go Sony only due to the somewhat worthless fact that I've had a few Sony's in my time that have gone on for much longer than the Samsung's I've had which all failed well before their time from random issues. Eg. failed panel after three years.

      • Thanks 👍

  • How does this TV go with watching sports? I've noticed some seen to struggle with the ball movement.

    Thanks in advance.
