    These are ok if you want to go as cheap as possible. However, if you spend a little more on amazon, you can get a ratcheting crimper (generic brand) which are soooo much better and leave much better crimps.

    Not taking away from OP. It was a good find.

      I use these light manual ones to pre-crimp so that everything stays put just long enough so that I can properly crimp with the ratchet ones (sometimes I need two hands for them if working in situ). I've had much fewer failed crimps this way. Takes a smidge longer but it is my workaround for having small hands and being clumsy.

        I'm not sure if this helps but I sometimes put the lug in the crimp die on one click to gently hold it while I insert the stripped wire and crimp.

    Don't torture yourself and use these go and Get ratcheting ones.

    These absolutely suck to use, if you’re doing any more than a couple projects invest in a decent pair.
