PlayStation Plus Deluxe TL₺460 (~A$26.30) for 12 Months + Fees @ PSN Turkey (Proxy, OlduBil, Revolut Required)

1250

Thanks to ISP / I Smell Pennies and the current Turkish Lira crash, I could stack PS Plus and EA Access for the next couple of years.

Evidence:
https://imgur.com/a/YVDryBt

Requirements:
• Turkish PSN Account
• OlduBil Account
• Revolut Account (I guess any Bank should work)
• Turkish Proxies
• patience

SETUP

Part 1 Turkish PSN Account

This will not work on your current Australian PSN account. You will have to sign-up for a new Turkish PSN Account. To do that, visit the PSN homepage and create a new account with the region set to Turkey. Use a fake address. (I usually use a hotel in a Turkish city.)
Alternatively, sign up on your PS5 and set the region to Turkey.

Part 2 OrduBil and Revolut

Thanks again to ISP / I Smell Pennies

Visit ISP’s post from yesterday and follow Part 1-2b.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/784047

Part 3 Turkish Proxies

You can use free proxies from hidemy.name and ProxyNova.

PURCHASE of PSN or EA ACCESS subscription

Top up your OrduBil Account as explained in ISP’s post Part 2b.
Log in with your Turkish PSN Account to your PS5 and add the OrduBil card to your payment method.
Go to the network settings and edit your existing SSID by pressing the options button. Go to Proxy, select “Use”, and type in the provided IP addresses in Part 3. (patience IS KEY! Most provided IP addresses won't work. You will get a lot of “failed” messages.)

Once you succeed, you must go to the main settings menu and go to Users and Accounts -> Account -> Payment and Subscriptions -> Add funds.
(If the proxy connection fails, you won't get past “Account and have to try a different proxy IP address”)
Add funds TL 460 and go to the PSN Store to subscribe. Adding funds is essential for subscribing. You can't buy the subscription straight via credit card.

  • Do you do it on web or ps5?

    • On PS5. Wasn't able to test it on PS4 or Web.

      • How did you use a proxy on your PS5?

        • Go to Network Settings and hover over your current connection. Press the options button on your controller, and you should get the option for advanced settings. Press on that, and you should be able to enable the proxy.

    • Try to create a turkish account on PC, no success, asked me to contract support. both VPN on and off.

      • Try setting on PS5

  • Any side effects to having the turkish PSN account and not Aus?

    • You may not be able to get DLCs and add-on content for AU region games.

There may also be some variances in available games in the store.

      • AUS and TK are the same region, so DLC is fine.

        • Both may be SCEE region, but there's still issues with local store recognising titles on some games.

Some of my PS4 UK discs did not pickup DLC in AU store so started a new AU account on PS5.

          • @Hybroid: Yeah I guess there may be some specific games that the content is tied to the TK account regarding credits etc. also. Dirt Rally 2 comes to mind.

            • @Pandaroo: guys just set it as primary ps4 and use aussie acc like i do

          • @Hybroid: It's been a while but I remember getting around this.

Game purchased on sale on US account & US store, auto-shared and plated played on AU account.
DLC purchased on AU account/AU store: didn't work
DLC purchased on US store via giftcard, worked and auto-shared with AU account

This was ages ago with asura's wrath… haven't had to do it since.

    • I had no issues so far.

    • I guess you would lose access to the old library of PSN games that you had with your previous account

      • I would think so too.

      • Pretty sure you can. I have a US and AU account and share games between the 2. The only limitation is you can't share save files & dlc has to be purchased from the original country ps store if I remember.

  • Does topping up the Wise account and paying through that still work?

    • +2

      Not for Australian Wise cards

    • You have to make your Wise account an NZ one, but once you have that done this will work. I just did it now to add another year to my account.

      • What is the max years?

        • I am pretty sure you can queue up as many as you want. Mine is currently valid until late 2025

        • Used to he 15 years but looks like Sony lifted the limit.

          • +2

@Azro: Mine is at June 2040, not sure if I'll keep going.

            • @lufee: That's solid man, nice work. Do you need to pay extra for deluxe, or is this deluxe too?

              • @hamwhisperer: Mine is still at essential but there is cap price to upgrade to deluxe (which comes out cheaper than resubbing deluxe price)

                • @lufee: Mind sharing what the capped price is mate? I've got 4 years Deluxe left on my Turkish account and am wondering if it makes more sense to load up on Essential on a new account and convert/upgrade to Deluxe rather than extend my Deluxe sub for 10years on my current account.

                  • +1

@Hawk Tuah: Once off upgrade price from essential.

                    Extra for 405.00 / $23.5
                    Deluxe for 545.00 / $31.7

                    Current price for 12 months sub to deluxe is 460.00 / $26.7 vs essential 240.00 / $14

so will come much cheaper if you are planning to stacks years ahead :)

                    • @lufee: Damn just loaded 5 years of extra at 400 each

      • Hey mate, could you please tell me how I change it to an NZ account?
That Wise account is linked to my Turkey PS account, so then I can basically go into the PS store through my PS and buy another 12 months, right?

        • +1

You just have to change your Wise address and location to a random place in NZ and then it will ask for proof of address, which many have just sent any old document and it was accepted.

To buy the subscription, I just use Windscribe add-on on Firefox in a private tab to enable a Turkish location VPN, then I navigate to the PS store, log into my Turkish account and purchase the 12 months of Plus. For some reason I was unable to get it to work using Chrome.

          • @XVX: legend, thanks

          • @XVX: Hmmmm. I might be doing something wrong, or Wise document verification has gotten better. I've managed to switch my Wise account to NZ successfully.

However, when doing the manual verification of address, I've already had two documents knocked back saying

The address on the document you sent doesn’t match the one on your account.

I've used a driver's license as well as a power bill.

            Any thoughts from anyone?

            • @tebbybabes: how do you make the documents for NZ for wise verification?

              • @jayboi: Same problem I'm having apparently. Based on what I could see on the web, any document apparently worked before. So in my case, I just submitted my regular oz documents.

Now, I don't know if manual verification is stricter with everyone now, or just with me, but in my case, it's failing.

  • +13

i strongly recommend not to do this. i followed a similar tip 2 years ago and im stuck with about a dozen games on my US account which i can't now play because there is no good deal on US PS+ like there was back then.

    • +2

I have the same thing from back in 2011, bit annoying as some of those games are delisted and can't be repurchased on the store.

But the savings makes it worthwhile for me, I want PS+ 90% for online play, 10% for the free games anyway.

You basically need to treat any of these "free" games as temporary, especially if region hopping.

Even if you're paying for PS+ on an AUS account, Sony removes games from the Extra catalogue so you can be stuck not being able to finish a game.

    • +5

Just buy 15 years of Turkish PSN (would be around $400) and enjoy.
      I'm not even joking.

      • +1

I'm 94 years of age….any advice for me?

        • +2

play less game, fly more dji mini/air/etc.

      • Lol, we don't know what will happen. But it sounds great having a membership for 15 years.

    • I'm already in a similar situation just as a result of living in different places. The fact I miss out on old games and cloud saves on my main account because of regional restrictions is really just pushing me into doing something like this.

      • I have 6 accounts for that reason (AU, US, UK, DE, TK, HK).

  • +23

    Too difficult, got citizenship instead.

    • Can it be done digitally?

      • +3

No. You need to buy 400k USD worth of real estate in turkey. Think about buying PS plus 50% off tho

        • how's the market in Instabul? Might be a good investment?

          • @Capt0083: You think Sydney/Melbourne was bad? Locals are squeezed out of property market by Syrians(refugees), legal/illegal migrants from Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Ukrainians and Russians running from war. Govt put rent caps to get some things under control, but everything is so expensive

    • For me, it is worth it. I stacked until 2030 and have peace of mind until then. I also stacked EA Access and got Assasins Creed Mirage for AUD30, and Spider-Man 2 Deluxe for AUD50.

      • How did you get the not yet released games at such cheap prices?

      • I'm confused, I thought you could only stack for 3 years?

      • Can the EA be shared as the ps+ ?

    • -1

Tuekey is love, Turkey is life. Is there a way to optain a dual citizenship while living in AU by using VPN lmao

    • Winrar

  • Is it worth having both a Turkish PlayStation Plus Deluxe and an Australian PlayStation Plus Deluxe if I’ve already had the latter for a few years? Are the monthly games different between the two accounts? Are there any benefits to having both accounts for those who might do so? I’m looking for opinions and insights on whether it’s worth maintaining both subscriptions and if there are any advantages in terms of game variety, language preferences, or exclusive deals. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

    • +1

Personally, I only have the Turkish one (as of a few months ago from the previous deal). It gets the same monthly games, and I can play these on my aussie account once downloaded. I am also playing Diablo 4 Australian version on my Turkish account with no issues.

If you purchase games on the Turkish ps store its generally cheaper as well (eg. I think ff xvi was about $50aud there)

I don't really see a reason to keep the aussie one for myself but not sure if some games are possibly multiplayer limited to regions?

      • I am new user here. I have an AU account but If i move to turkish account, what benefits do i loose? I just got my Ps for kids. Haven’t bought any game yet.

Also what happens if buy a game disc locally? Will i be able to run it on turkish account?

        • +1

I assume you'll lose whatever you had originally on your ps plus Australia since it's a different subscription (ie. Saved monthly games from your library).

I bought diablo 4 disc locally and that seems to work fine.

Note I'm pretty new to Ps5 and haven't had ps plus Australia before!

        • +1

I would still play on an Australian account. Just buy the games and PS+ on the Turkey one.

Some games, such as Gran Turismo Sport (maybe GT7), will place you in lobbies based on your account region, not your IP location.
So you could be placed in a Europe lobby instead of an Australian one which will be more laggy etc.

You can have multiple accounts on a console, and the games are shared between all users on the console

        • +1

As others have said, getting the Turkish one to actually purchase is the difficult part so I would try it out first before doing any cancellation (even I can't seem to get it to add anymore at the moment! So if you get it working then stack it all). People seem to have differing luck with getting the purchase done.

          • +1

@frogduck: Thanks @frogduck, tempting and I might consider cancelling my AU account and switch to Turkey, I'm gonna try getting a 25 year refund from my current account but I'm also a bit reluctant as I've managed to collect around 280 games from the monthly games that I found out I'll lose, along with save files. Hopefully I can save the cloud saves to USB then transfer to a different account. But it's an amazing price to stack to the max.

@nnaa8287 No. PS5 games are not region-locked. So, this means that you can play games on any PS5 no matter what. Only affected is digital downloads, you will lose anything you have collected like my scenario above if you change

            • @Tekuza: Thanks guys. Is there a way to find out what games i can play with deluxe? Is street fighter 6 part of it?

              • @nnaa8287: Should be this list, but Street fighter 6 likely won't be on there for a while

                https://www.playstation.com/en-au/ps-plus/games/

                • @frogduck: thanks so games are the same for all 3 tiers?

                  • @nnaa8287: No, it's not. The list is only applicable to extra and deluxe tiers. Basic / Essentials tier requires collecting monthly games and manually build up PS Plus collection. However, since this exploit is about saving money, it makes sense to go for the highest tier.

For most people, they will create multiple accounts. It's still good to have an AU account. In fact, a lot of people still play on their AU accounts, except they use the Turkish account to initiate the game downloads. However, for Deluxe tier trial games, you have to use the account that has the subscription. You can switch user on PS5 easily.

            • @Tekuza: 25 years? What have you done? 🤣

              • +2

                @Yule: See orignal deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/737165?page=2#comment

Essential then upgraded to Deluxe for 25 years lol it's insane but nothing to worry about for years.
Unbelievable for $67.43 a year in comparison to the normal crazy yearly price.

                DELUXE UPGRADE CRAZY
$186.95 due today. Payment applies to the remaining 9131 days of your current plan. Next payment: $154.95 every 12 months, starting on 28/11/2047.

              • @Yule: Not sure he factored in the costs of PS6, PS7 and PS8.

Are you stealing patients from the hospital????

    • +1

      Sorry not my mother language

  • +1

The payment method for this deal was never the issue. It was the lack of available working proxies. This deal is not any more accessible than what it was before. Lucky I got mine to work and I am stacked. I'm fairly sure this deal didn't need a repost.

    • Repost? was there a previous PS + related deal?

Not sure why tf I'm getting negged lol. Either there are salty people here or people like partially accessible deals.

Note what I've stated on here are facts. Without a working proxy (which is like finding a needle in a haystack), the deal is pretty much non existent.

        • +3

It was $36.87 before and now its $26.30 so def a deal. I think its good for a repost.

          • -6

@Bik: That's irrelevant, how about you get it working and then let us know how you went.

  • Has anyone tested EA Play/Play Pro on PC via OrduBil? Very interested if this was to work

    • Yes, it should work on anything Turkey related as it's basically a Turkish vcc.

    • Like @StealthAU said. Should work with the Turkish VCC

  • +4

You can do this directly via NZ wise account, none of the top up fees.

  • Does anyone know if game saves from an original AU account can be transferred to a new Türkiye account?

    • +2

Not sure what mean by transfer. You can't transfer anything between accounts.
What you can do is you download a game under one account and play it with any other account on the same console.

      • Does the turkey account need to be set as home console or whatever?

        • If you want to have PS Plus shared to all other accounts on your PS, Ja/Yes

        • +1

There should be some option you'd need to toggle on, from my memory. Just google "sharing psplus on the same console" or similar.

  • -1

Hope this doesn't eventually stop working like the Wise one did.

    • Wise didn't stop working it was the Crypto.

      • +1

        Nah, Crypto works fine.
Just stacked upto 2040 last week, it takes times but still works.

        • What is the crypto option?

          • @choofa: ahhh! crypto.com
It does work indeed! Just used it. Thanks!

    • -1

Why the downvote? You can't use a AU Wise card directly anymore.

  • +1

If you want headache, subscribe this way.

    • You know a different way?

  • what's the other way

  • How many years you can buy upfront? I heard there is a limit on oldubil deposits.
