Unfortunately BF died around BF4. Most of the Dice team are long gone after EA acquisition. WW1 nuts liked BF1 and the re-skin BF-V, but 2042 was one of the biggest flops in history.

I've heard after the recent updates the game is in a really good spot now, i'd say it's definitely worth $5. Not sure about $30.

I did message them on Live Chat today. The person said they would need to push a request onto their fulfillment team to follow up the order, so 24-48 hours for a response now

Talked on live chat yesterday basically provided a useless answer of no stores have stock, waiting for stock to arrive and ship the item.

I loathe companies that advertise stock they don't have on hand, then put a order in with the supplier and make you wait weeks. I ordered Sunday 25th and no shipping info yet.
Honestly i'm also annoyed still nothing on my end… if it is a cancellation that would really piss me off.

If you wanna talk slack, they still haven't updated my delivery address to include my unit and street number. I'm not hopeful about this one. Assuming they send me stock, hopefully they stick my mobile number on the package so the post office can call me.

Pretty annoying, was looking forward to 2042 since it is the last of the BF series with offline bots.
BF 2142 is the last with offline bots. You can create a bot match in 2042 but you need to be online and it's hosted on EA servers not your own PC.
Yeah likewise I was looking forward to as well. Well never ordering from Joyce mayne again.
Just called the Store(Warrawong) and got told by the guy working in the Dept that apparently the whole thing is Online store stuffed up and they dont actually have any stock so They should be pushing refunds out to everyone soon because he said he already emailed the online Team. In other news for those who still wan the game Steam Summer Sale is on atm and bf2042 is $22.48. So not as good as this deal but still decent and immediate download.

@Zev: Whilst I would have preferred $20 back on my debit card. The reissuing of the gift card gives me another year on top of the original gift card's expiry date so I guess it's a win.
Got an email just then telling me they're cancelling my order due to unforeseen stock shortages
They just let me know their cancelling and refunding my order because they have "limited stock" from the supplier.
i responded asking if they could just reserve me one from the next batch instead of refunding my order. Of which i got a response from Harvey Norman (yes, not Joyce Mayne) saying they can't do that.
I know Harvey Norman owns Joyce Mayne, i just expected them to put a bit more effort into consistency in communication with customers….if your responding to my enquiry with JM, stick with JM, don't all of a sudden switch to HN

EDIT: They haven't even updated my order to include the unit and street number! These details dropped off the unit no. and street number fields… need to put them in the street name field for it to stay.
