Cheaper on your eBay store - $69.00 + $5 del.

    • +4

It’s showing as 69, +8 for me, ebay plus members may also have a further applicable $5 voucher

But yep still cheaper even without the code big oof

Interestingly the eBay listing also says seller does not accept returns..

Interestingly the eBay listing also says seller does not accept returns.

On eBay that just means no change of mind returns.

  • I have the digital version of this, not sure how many litre but I feel from the description that it's the same size.

It is good compact unit. I am on an apartment without a great deal of counterspace so this is manageable. It has its limits though. You can cook a schnitzel in it, or a good serve of chips. Suitable for 1 or 2 people.

    • Is this air fryer loud? E.g., is it louder than a microwave?

      • No not that loud I find. All you hear is a small fan going.

  • Heard something about 'Instant' going bankrupt

    • Apparently did not affect the Australian arm of the business

Note that Instant Brands has filed for bankruptcy. So you might have a problem with warranty.

    • Bugger.

Bit of a fan of Instant gear, disappointing

    • They filed for bankruptcy protection so can continue to operate. This means that most likely someone will buy it debt free and continue.

The brand is HUGE in America, most homes have a product from the company

      • While this is encouraging, the reason they were highly regarded is they hit that sweetspot of value/price where quality was very much a foot-forward feature.

Companies who buy-up struggling, established brands often cut costs right out of the gate and just trade off reputation that is no longer representative of output.

    • Shouldn't they be transparent about this and discuss warranty concerns with this deal.
I would worry for anyone purchasing this if they had issues with the product a few months down the line

If you read the article, it looks like the AU market is fine?

"Instant Brands' entities located outside the US and Canada are not included in the Chapter 11 filings."

I thought Instant is broken and all warranty is voided

I bought the previous model of this airfryer, I liked it so much I bought the company the 5.7l model.

    They are both fantastic.

But this one is apparently rubbish, the timer is old school mechanical, there is no display. You can’t change from 10minutes to five minutes after you start for example.

The price is great but this is a flawed cheapened model.

  • Got it on Amazon at $49.50 this March
