Maybe you should throw next Ozbargain bash at your place. :p
Cocomelon makes something like $17m monthly. Crazy numbers.
Face melts
@Ryanek wait till you find out how much Nikki and Vlad makes,
+1. So your desecration of the porcelain can be in high definition.
Is it even humid proof? Why so many tvs in bathroom?
Cold showers
To be fair, I only have an OLED in my bathroom because I couldn't fit any more into my laundry
Remove the dryer and you can fit another one.
Really great tip, thanks!

Appliance central has it for $5820. You probably won't get free delivery if you are not in NSW, but you can try price match.

Paid $5100 for this just last week from Harvey Norman in Adelaide delivered
when a person uses the word "bro" they should take the warning labels off products and let the problem sort itself out.
I paid $4900 delivered and installed
Bought one for the glovebox, thanks OP
You must have veryyyyy big gloves :p
Or a big box
Bought 2 for my van, it looks way cooler than the Tesla screen now.
I'd like to do this too, you using one of those air vent clips to mount it, or magnet?
The magnet is too weak, plus it's permanent so I use 2 of these https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0B18LHCQP
So this is how you fix your broken windscreen?
Brilliant idea mate, just plug in a logitech webcam. I have to buy 2 more.
Bought this for my G2, it's the TV my TV watches
So, what does your watch watch?
Don't be silly.
My Patek watches Rolex

Bought 13 for Christmas stockers
Lol upvote for the hilarious description.
cheers going to put these on my ceiling
You rich guys, I only have a toaster by my bath.
That's how it started for me, but then I worried it was getting bored without me there. Naturally, I moved some things around in my budget and now my toaster has its own C3
Should buy a few of these for the media room theme wall.. works better than wall paper or paint
Thanks got 20
Have all the C2 42" finished across the country? If so, im super dissapointed I missed out on that $1k deal.
Apparently so, I saw this and got excited for a second. I sat there thinking about the $1K deal for too long until I missed out. Was hoping might come up again for EOFY but nothing yet, I'm thinking they sold them all in that deal.
I'd get the C3 42" if it was closer to that deal in price, even $1500, but at $2k+ it's just too much.
Yep, and it's barely an improvement over the C2.
@bleeder: and C2 was bare improvement on C1..
seems to be a pattern
Yeah that's the strategy, dump the good price c2 42 and bring on the inflated c3 42 at 2x+ the cost ($1395 vs $2595 no sales) and they don't even put MLA on the 42" version.
@Daffan: they only put MLA on G3 to make it the premium model + premium price
I think all C2 is pretty much discontinued and out of stock sad because I wanted a c2 65" below below 2.5-2.6k
Same, I want one to use as a monitor - the best I can find is $2k at David Jones, at that price I’d just get a C3 🙄
What does self lit mean?
Each pixel is self lit and doesn’t require a backlight
It means they put a little bit of the sun in each pixel.
It means it rolled it's own joint and is in happier place.
All OLED screens are 'self lit' - the light source comes from the pixel itself rather than a backlight shining through a gated / transparent LCD screen. This means OLED screens can produce perfect blacks, unlike a LCD screen that when trying to be black still has the white blacklight shining behind blackened pixels.
They introduced the 'self lit' description to highlight the technology / repair the confusion around the marketing of 'QLED', that some consumers were duped into believing was equivalent to OLED.
Bought one for the dog kennel, they love watching dog videos on youtube
Nothing like a bit of dogging in the kennel
Don’t let them watch catch videos though, too expensive to keep replacing these screens.
How this compare to sony a90j?
Hi there, I am wondering if anyone can provide advice. I am super torn between This 83" C2 and the Sony X90K 85". If I go with the Sony, which currently I can get for ~$2700 after cash back, its less than half the price for full array. Is OLED really worth almost $3100 more??
Oled is worth.
lol OLED easy
No, not worth $3100 more for an idiot box. Fan boys here will say otherwise. People will also tell you to pay triple the price of a standard car for an electric car.
Like many things in life, it's subjective. For some it's worth it, for others it's not. I like good quality picture and sound when I'm watching the telly. I'm sure you like stuff that I think is dumb too.
You’ll want the TCL C845 for $3450, has roughly 1000 dimming zones, is much brighter for almost the same price and size
The Sony is much cheaper at $2700 though
The upgrade is significant, the Sony has 60 dimming zones vs over 600 on the TCL
I vote for the Sony at that price, that seems super cheap! Unless this is for a home cinema room, personally I would stick with a big LCD in a loungeroom / open plan area because it is brighter and often used during the day.
I have a 65" Sony X90E with FALD and I've been very happy with it. But am looking out for a 42" OLED for the bedroom, since it is always used at night, often in complete darkness.
Depends how much you like watching TV.
I'd go the OLED but I spend 80% of my life enjoying TV HahaThat's 19 hours a day. You ok bro?
Bored with my own life ig
If u can get a really good warranty on OLED I'd do it, but I'm talking like, 7years or something.
Then you realise the third party insurance company is busy by the 3rd year or come claim time it's hell.
Honestly by now consumers should get joy and a kick out of going apemode on the phone to these companies when issues arise, throw in some ACCC nuclear buzzwords and such, think of it as a special event not agonizing torture.
Companies love false advertising and dodgy claims so people shouldn't be afraid to go toe to toe with them or have sense of sorry/guilt.
double glazed windows are too expensive, bought 10 of these instead, Thanks
And people say there's a recession haha.
Ikr, then I think to myself, people in the market for a $6000 TV probably aren't going to be all that hard done by financially
I have the previous gen 83" and paid for more than this.
You get use to the size pretty quickly.
If I had my time again, I'd probably save a stack of cash and get a 77" OLED
Not that I'm not happy with my 83" OLED, I don't think the premium over the 77" OLED is worth it.
