  • Wow beautiful! Been eyeing one this size but goddam are they mostly expensive.

  • Are you aure they work on the surface pro 8? I asked the seller from the previous deal last time and they said no.

    • +2

Let's assume no then. It'll fit in the socket but won't work.

    • Purchased this exact one few months ago from this seller. Can confirm works fine in Surface Pro 7+

    • Can confirm that it works, I've used a PM991a drive to upgrade a Surface Pro 8 and haven't had any issues.

  • Wow… been looking at these and was going to get a 512GB on Ebay for my Surface Pro 7+.

I originally saw the price and went meh, I'd rather pay a bit more and get it on Ebay from an AU seller.
Then I saw that it was 1TB - very good price!

WD SN740 1tb which seems to have faster speeds is $89.11 after using code SS6

      • Ah, well I intend on using my steam deck docked mostly. So it's no issue for me.

      • how much faster?
        got the reddit link?

      • +2

The label refers to peak draw, and as the WD it's referring to pcie 4.0 connections so it's about the same when connected at pcie 3.0

        • So is this case for the Sabrent ones as well?

          • +1

@TheFBIGuy: should be, but the labels dont mean much… you would have to look at power efficiency reviews like techpowerup do

  • These work for the steamdeck?

    • +1

      yes

    • +1

      Yes.

  • Bargain. I paid $140 for no name brand a few months ago.

    • I doubt there are no name 2230 nvme ones out there. Some sellers purposely blanked out the brand to avoid some legal issues I guess. It is either WD,Samsung or Kioxia.

  • +1

Damn. I jumped the gun upgrading last year. It was about $160 AUD.

  • Waiting for the 2tb to hit around $150 then I’ll bite the bullet

  • Finally, gosh, felt like it took forever.

Now my gpdwin max 2 will have 4tb lol

  • How dares steam offer 64gb in the first place in 2023.
    Bought it cheers op

    • At least they let you upgrade it.

  • Price has gone up

    • +1

It's still US$61.52 with both discounts.

      • Thanks Clear, this is actually a fantastic deal. We don't get many of these anymore.
        Upvoted, even though I don't have a need/not buying.
        +1

  • Thank you grabbed one earlier.
Great upgrade for my 7+ 128.
