[NSW] 10 Original Recipe, 10 Wicked Wings, 10 Nuggets, 1 Maxi Popcorn, 4 Large Sides, 2 Sauces $49.95 @ KFC George St Sydney

120

Fried July Feast

Only seems to be available at KFC George Street Sydney.

The Fried July Feast (sic) includes 10 pieces of Original Recipe Chicken, 10 Wicked Wings, 10 Nuggets, 1 Maxi Popcorn Chicken, 3 Large Chips, 1 Large Potato & Gravy and 2 Dipping Sauces. Not everywhere and not forever.

Large Chips and P&G can be swapped out for any large side, including 1.25L drinks. Dipping sauces can be customised online by clicking the customise button on the nuggets.

The deal should work for both pick-up or delivery online - not sure if you can order this at the counter. If you've got the correct store set on the website, this should be a direct link to the deal. Otherwise, it will redirect you to the menu.

That seems really expensive? Or standardish?

No way that's a bargain. Maybe it's priced for George St.

It's comparable to Cheap as Chips ($23.95) + 8 Wicked Wings for $8. Ordering this deal costs you $18 more but you get:

      • 2 Original Recipe pieces
      • 2 Wicked Wings
      • 4 Nuggets
      • 1 Maxi Popcorn Chicken

It depends on whether you think this is worth $18 or not (you could probably buy another Cheap as Chips if you chip in 6 more bucks).

Not sure on that. 2x cheap as chips would be cheaper, have more chicken and if you asked for wings instead I’m sure they’d give you a few extra, plus 4 more sides and 2 more nuggets. And be $1 or $2 less

        • With 2x Cheap as Chips, you get:

          • 6 Original Recipe pieces
          • 2 Nuggets
          • 2 Sauces
          • 4 Large Sides
          • $2.05 in your pocket

          in exchange for:

          • 10 Wicked Wings
          • 1 Maxi Popcorn

I'm not too sure that it "has more chicken" (I have no idea how big the chicken pieces are) - but you do get more sides.

Yeah cheap as chips wipes the floor, especially considering how versatile the sides can be

Actually, you can bring this closer using some suboptimal deals:

        • Cheap as Chips ($23.95, App Offers)
        • 8 Wicked Wings for $8 (Promos, "Online Offer")
        • 2 Wicked Wings for $2.95 (Promos, "Online Offer")
        • 3 Nuggets for $2.95 (Promos, "Online Offer")
        • Maxi Popcorn ADDON ($7.45, add Giant Feast or Mixed Feast to cart)

brings this deal to $4.65 more for:

        • 2 Original Recipe pieces
        • 1 Nugget

This deal is just okay if you want specifically this combination of chicken.

First thought was, man, KFC is expensive.
Second thought was, Red Rooster has superior fried chicken and chips, and is cheaper.

    • Red Rooster is completely underrated. They've been picking up their game since 2016. I also prefer RR's P&G over KFC's, more of a creamy buttery taste.

  • A pineapple for that much KFC?

  • This is cheap? Really

  • Bloody expensive this is! No bargain to be had here. Either make it 20 piece orig plus sundries or don't bother. Sheesh.

  • This is too much chicken for one person to handle.

  • This deal is also available in the west - has just popped up on the App for a couple of stores in Perth…

    • Have you seen any stores in Perth which don't have this deal?

  • KFC prices are through the roof and I don't know how they'll survive, people just don't have the money. I used to buy the nine piece (admittedly special) box on Tuesdays, regularly. $9, later $10 and finally $11 (along with free chips and a drink (survey)). That same 9 piece would now be about $24, based on the six piece meal price. Freebie is now just a drink. So up 100% in just 2 years. Nooooooo.. ..!! KFC for us will now be an annual treat (addiction driven only)!!

  • Now at 2040 prices. Jeez.
