Are these actually 2000 kg per stand? or per pair. It is odd that they would be listed that way as the advertisers usually try to get the biggest number possible and most stands are listed per pair.
I have been waiting for a deal on some stands. Anyone used these?
I have had these for a few years.
Initially used to support a tube which in turn holds 4x drums of ethernet cable. Was well and truly up to that task.
More recently used to prop up a boat trailer (with boat) to take load off jockey wheel. Only about 400kg max loading (1,200kg boat and trailer), but no signs of stress on the stand or the lifting mechanism.
Haven't had the need to push them anywhere near their rating though.
The lever which allows the height to be adjusted appears to be quite twitchy - in that only a small push will release it and allow the inside bar to travel up and down, however when it is under load it is much more difficult and therefore a lot more stable than it appears at first
