Just noticed there is a price drop on this good quality cutter, paid $7 back in March. It's very sharp, I cut myself with it last time without even noticing, cut was pretty deep and it took about a week to heal.

Note: select the second option from the drop down to get the Black & White version for slightly cheaper B&W one is now $25.44 but can still bought for $4.10 if select from Other Sellers.

    is emo making a comeback?

    Seriously???
About $1.00 at any $1 shop

    • Quality is night and day.

But after you have paid 5 times the price it is a little late to find out

    • Terrible quality, blades wobble, back of the blade holder comes out, blade itself is poor quality.

A sharp blade makes a huge difference with the finish of the product if you're doing something important.

Also a huge safety measure, using poor equipment/blunt blades actually results in more injuries due to the lack of available control.

    The review i needed

    • +1

      Why 😲

    • +3

If it only took 3 days to heal I wouldn't have bothered

  • I bought these a while back, both stainless body, 9mm 30 degree blade made in Japan.

Olfa with pack of 10 spare blades $14.48

    NT Cutter PRO $8.48

I really like the feel and strength of the stainless body, and the blades are really sharp. Both about the same in terms of fit and finish from what I can tell.

Those are the best in the market, we use them everyday as Graphic Installers. The Beige one feels cheaper cuz they are plastic while the other ones are heavier/stronger maybe made of aluminium or something like that.

  • "Made in Japan"

Sounds like the swordsmiths have applied their knowledge to modern day utensils. Now the paper won't realise it's cut until until you sheath the knife.

Difference between these and a decent box cutter/utility knife like Milwaukee Fast Back?

  • I have one from 30 years ago, looks exactly the same, A-300R. Actually I had 2, missus borrowed once and she lost it.

Unbelievable! I have them all this while, the one time she borrowed it she chucked it like thrash. #$%^&!

  • Ah, not the deal for me it seems, I was after something with a 3 day heal time on the cuts. But seriously who measures the quality of a cut like that?

  • +2

The same NT Cutter A-300R in paper box packaging, instead of blister packaging, for $4.53, if anyone interested

  • How well does the locking mechanism hold up? That's usually the first thing that breaks for me on these.

  • Does every knife bargain need to mention how well it cuts human flesh?

  • The EA-300 is $3.05: Light-duty cutter made of recycled resin for the most part. The design is the same as our signature item A-300. Built-in blade snapper.
