The best value for money automatic coffee machine according to Choice. This model appears to be on the way out - no longer on the Delonghi site - so a decent price while you can still get your hands on one!

Good q, dint think of this
The power cable will be a bit different.
Its using a standard "kettle cord" IEC C13 so easy to find a replacement, a lot of people probably already have spares at home.
Pretty old version, newer updated version for only ~$24 and local stock. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/delonghi-ecam22021bg-magn…
Use a $10 Perks voucher and get if for only ~$14
And combine with some discounted gift cards and it might work out even cheaper.
Saw this yesterday at Good guys cannington, WA $500 - not sure if it is in store only.
JB has a price matching policy in place.
I recently purchased the Breville The Barista Pro a few days ago and the following day I noticed a lower price on Amazon, and JB was kind enough to match that lower price for me.www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au
$473.00Oh nice! The real bargain is always in the comments.
I bought this last year with an ebay plus deal for approx. $450. I returned it after 10 days because it would not sufficiently pressurise tamped coffee, resulting in a very watery & weak brew. However, YMMV.
You take your chances with an Ebay purchase on a lot of things.
An Espresso machine is one of those items I like to have face to face sales point because so many of the machines fail.
Why Breville has such a huge range is beyond my ken.
They have some fantastic machines around the 1k mark and so so machines under that.
Lelit have great machines for under 1k but they don't appear often.
I bought the Breville Barista Pro for $700 and kinda wish I got something like this.. having to dial the settings in and tamp the grinds is a chore, i still havent got the coffee extracting properly or tasting right :(
I recently purchased this same machine, and I thoroughly enjoy the process of dialing in and striving to make a perfect cup of coffee.
I found it's quite soothing, but only time will tell if I will eventually grow tired of it in the long run.By the way, I've been getting pretty good at it, although I still can't quite master the art of latte art lol.
Should cheer you up that with the fully automated one you won't be able to adjust much and you have to drink what it spits out, no matter if tasting good/right or not.
So you end up buying different beans (because it's what you can change), they're getting more expensive to get some decent flavour and that's exactly what you can do with your Barista Pro too.
Am I wrong to assume breville espresso machine in general will last longer compare to delonghi?
I take it in event of warranty issue it has to be shipped back to UK?
