    For Switch and PC only?

    • +4

I don't have personal experience, but I believe it will work with most systems with an adapter

      • This doesn't work on Xbox consoles. It's more for using various different controllers on Switch and PC.

An XBOX version just got announced.

Have this, great for the Switch. Just tried it with the included wireless dongle on my Win 10 PC and identified as a controller instantly (has a toggle to enable X input and Xbox style buttons).

Looking to get a Wingman USB adapter (when they are not out of stock) so I could also use this one my PS5 too.

Good for the price if you are a more casual gamer like myself.

        identified as a controller instantly.
Even the tech is doing it now.

Pair with the steam deck and you're set

That was my exact plan.. And I have a few games on the switch that would be enjoyable with this as well

Don't have this. But my 2 soon to be 3 yr old daughter absolutely loves playing street fighter 6 with an arcade stick. She pulls off some decent supers. Albeit fluking it.
So safe to say kids will enjoy it

    • You should YouTube her fights. Probably go viral

  • Still love my SF TE stick.

  • Amazon is not able to deliver at my location :-( (first time it happened)

Same - anyone know why that would be the case? I suspect they may not have stock?

Still a no go since last night. Ordered from JB instead.

    Excellent Arcade Stick IMO.
Works perfect with RetroArch (Mame games) on Nvidia Shield TV Pro.

And for anyone wondering, it's super easy for modding. I replaced the joystick for one of the excellent Japanese Sanwa-Denshi joysticks. Just slotted straight in.
I also replaced the 10 buttons for professional Japanese Sanwa button mechanisms along with 3rd party concave button tops. Concave buttons were on almost all arcade machines back in the 80's.

    • Thanks, very good to know. Not that I want to mod it now, but no need to be gentle when the joy stick and buttons can be easily replaced.

    • link to the concave tops?

  • Where ps5 version

  • My current daily driver (GGACR, FC2) — Sanwa clone lever/switches but easily moddable for a complete newbie if you've got a screwdriver and a half hour to learn where things go.

My only gripe with it is there's not a lot of space on the left side of the stick for hand placement if you play pinky-under or need more space for thumb rolling: This might just be me having a large hand issue, buyer beware though.

    • Takes low-profile, clip in switches ONLY. Look for Sanwa official for easy swapouts (no soldering required)
    • Sanwa clone lever, mounting plate supports a bunch of other brands
    • Default lever is tall enough for paddle top if the ball isn't your speed

Even without mods this is a great stick if you like 8bitdo software/features or want something wireless.

I have one it works via Bluetooth and 2.4ghz only on pc and switch. It does not work wired via USB on switch or pc

  • Guys, what are the benefits of having one of these as opposed to a controller? I'll ChatGPT it, but gamed my whole life without one.

    • You can do 623623+ABC or 1632143+XY faster and with ease.

      • Thanks, did about 20 minutes of research, but not for me. If it was cheaper, say $49ish, I would bite, but nice to have than a need.

  • Thanks for posting this!

Can this work with PS4 and PS5? If yes, how can I do it or what adapter do I need?

    Thanks!

  • I already have two arcade sticks. is it (profanity) i'm considering a 3rd just because i like the NES look.

  • Anyone else being told by Amazon that they can't ship it to Brisbane?

    Very strange.

    • It's not letting me ship to any address. Must be an issue on the Amazon end.

      • same

I honestly for the life of me can never understand the appeal of arcade stick despite playing some arcade shmup and sidescroller games in the past

    • I'm complete opposite I can't live my life without arcade sticks. And yes I do own this arcade stick and others too

  • Would this be good for non fighting games. Like train simulator and games like that?

  • +2

This stick was by far the best option for me. 129 for a wireless stick is a good deal. Don't even upgrade it until you know whether playing on stick is for you.

You will need to buy Brook adapters if you want to play on Xbox or Playstation. There are also solutions to play with bluetooth on retro consoles.

You can buy new buttons if you want. I bought translucent Crowns and the red lights from the illuminated button labels also come through the buttons. It's quite a nice effect at night. Not blinding, but aesthetically pleasing and helpful.

The stick can be replaced with a Sanwa with little effort. I also went with a removeable shaft because I travel with my stick. I also removed the steel weight in the base for the same reason.

Fight sticks certainly aren't for everyone. If you're a pad player, consider a fight pad or an 8bitdo M30. If you want to know if stick is for you, start here.

    • Can you share where you bought your parts from?

      • +1

Just google it there are still some Australian genuine arcade stores that sell parts I personally shop at
