  • Have seen lower for the 7600x, around 342~360

  • How is the warranty on Amazon US imports?

    • No idea. Have never had to return anything so far

From what I've heard from others and from Amazon US itself - once it is out of Amazon return window it will be you vs manufacturer.
You might convince Amazon US to pay return shipping and get refund (no repair, no replacement) but it will up to chat agent's good will.

Had this experience with Beyerdynamic headphones purchased from Amazon US.
Was told by Amazon to f*** off politely and contact the manufacturer.
Contacted Beyerdynamic and was pleasantly surprised how local Beyerdynamic service agent repaired my headphones in 3 days after seeing invoice printed from Amazon US.

So it depends on manufacturer's warranty conditions as well.

Not at all the case. I had a 980pro 2tb from amazon US that died after 1.5 years. I returned it at their expense for a full refund of $470. They were worth about 200 at that point so i bought a 4tb wd850x for about $70 more. U will have absolutely no chance getting manufacturer warranty in Australia on a grey import, samsung flat out refused as the serial number of the drive confirmed it was a drive meant for the US market.

Amazon are extremely helpful when it comes to warranty claims even if bought from another country

Just adding that manufacturer warranty policy will definitely vary depending on brand. I'd say the majority only apply if u claim from the correct region. Some brands though have global warranty such as EVGA and it would seem Beyerdynamic too (which is nice to know). Samsung definitely dont, but i have no idea about Western Digital. Not sure why Amazon US refunded mine but not SickDmith's headphones. At the time i made my claim though Samsung were all over tech news sites for their botched firmware, not sure if that influenced them.

  • Nice deal. I got mine for $494 a few months ago.

If you just want the SSD add this book: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/0892760524 to cart with the sn850x and proceed to check out. Total is $479.60

May be something cheaper to add but thats what I landed on.

    • How did you search for an appropriate thing on Amazon to add to the order to get the discounted price ?
Thought I would search for something that is useful

  • wasnt the 4tb sn850x $383 during prime day and $412 currently from amazon de?
