always liked thermalright, solid, well performing and well priced products,

not to be confused with thermaltake which is junk.

    • Thermaltake is a more reputable brand than thermalright.

        • I agree, they both have good products.

  • Is this overkill for my pi4?

  • The pic looked like lego to me..

I have also been building the millennium falcon the past few days

  • I need some advice, whats peoples experence with quality and cooling on thease thermalrights. Woukd this cool a i7 13th gen fine, and are their any defects of kinds like sharp edges or general slight cheap issues?

Cooled my i7 13700k just fine, idled 30s and around 60s - 80s depending on load. No OC though, haven't tried so far

13th Gen i7 runs hot. I would get a dual-fan Peerless Assassin 120 SE at the minimum which is better than this unit. I would then also buy the Thermalright Contact Frame which will knock a few more degrees off and is quite important on the i7.

That being said the fans are quite noisy on Thermalrights if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. I just had to replace the included fans to reduce the noise, at which point I should have probably just bought the Noctua D-15 after all costs are considered.

  • Is this better than the Peerless Assassin 120 SE?

    • No

      • Thought so. Just wanted to check.
