Same for me. Weird though. Well I don't mind losing 6c. Needed a power bank for a long time.
these any good for steam deck?
Yep, Steam Deck only needs 40W and these appear to be 65W
There's a 65w version and also a 22.5w version
Then the 65W version would be the one they’d want to buy. :)
The 65W seems to be cheaper from this store https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/314469276529
Can this charge a Surface Pro 5?
Not sure of Surface Pro. I have a Lenovo Yoga which has a USB-C port and requires 65W input. My Basus 65W powerbank provides consistent power supply to my laptop for 8 hours. Interestingly it doesn't charge up my laptop at all. That may have to do with battery of the Lenovo laptop.
The 2 mentioned by OP? No.
The third one in the listing with 65w? Yes.
Baseus 65W 20000mAh Power Bank is for AU $54.71 which is not mentioned in the title.
I have this one. I cannot recommend it. Sometimes it simply won't charge any device. Not my phone, headphones, camera, other powerbank anything. Just charges for 2 seconds then switches off. Leave it for half and hour, plug in the same devices with the same cable and sometimes magically it decides to work. Sometimes it still doesn't work and until you retry at random intervals and catch it on a good day. Its mind boggling how something electronic can be so inconsistent.
Maybe your powerbank is faulty at the very beginning. I have the 65W for more than 1.5 years and it is still going strong. Check your cable if it is faulty or meeting the required wattage.
Cables was the first thing I troubleshooted. I have tried mixing and matching OEM cables from my Sony WH-1000XM4, Google Pixel, GoPro, aliexpress cables with various devices, with still the same symptoms. The same cable and device combination will simply work one day and refuse to work the next.
@end user: I had such problem once and replaced the regular cable with 100W cable. Since then it has been working fine. As far as charging GoPro, IPhone, Ipad, Oppo mobile, Huawei mobile, laptops, headphone etc the powerbank is doing an outstanding job. Indeed your situation may be different. I am just lucky.
Agreed, my baseus PB is also terrible. Sick of these deals being upvoted!
Had a similar problem problem where after charging one device, plugging in a different device onto the same cable does not charge it. had to remove the cable on the PB end and plug it in again before it will start charging.
The PB "died" after I tried to charge my new laptop. the charge went down to 0% and I could not get it to charge up from that point on. Had the PB for about 6 mths.
Reached out to Baseus and now I need to record a video and send it to them for assessment…
HEYMIX vibe
also Zyron vibeyup, everyone seems to forget how many people were impacted by degrading quality of Baseus PBs lately:
I had a very unpleasant experience with Baseus PB. I bought the 100w PB for my trip overseas. The PB doesn't work very well. Sometimes the power display shows PB has more than 40% juice left but doesn't charge any devices. When I plugged in my phone to charge, instead of charging the phone the PB draw the power from my phone to charge itself, even when the bloody thing still has more than 40% power left. Then I left with a dead phone in the morning. I was so disappointed and contacted my seller right away. Note that: I bought the PB from the official store on eBay. They replied and offered me a replacement, and I don't have to send the faulty one back.
I told the seller please test it before sending the PB over, they said they will. When I received the new PB and tested it out again, unfortunately, the same bloody thing still happened. I think the problem is the PCB itself.
One more thing is with the charging. I can't charge the PB to 100% capacity. Always cut off the charging around 80% or 90%. Until now, the charging stops at 56%.
I have a few Baseus products, charging bring, cable etc. All of them work as they should. But from now on I can't recommend any Baseus PB. The quality control is very bad, at least in my experience. I didn't leave any bad reviews on eBay, because the customer service is very good. Just disappointed is what I am now. I did research and turn out the people Baseus 100W PB from Aliexpress had the same issue. It is the batch problem, not the individual PB.
I am looking to buy a new PB and certainly will not be Baseus. Looks elsewhere, save yourself time, money and frustration. Baseus needs to improve its quality control. Until then, Baseus PB is a no-go.
Same issue i had . Bought the powerbank thought it will last me very long but after few days there was issue . Not sure which powerbank to get now
@Modesty: Xiaomi, Anker, uGreen should be very reliable choices. I don't trust any other brand when it comes to PB.
Anecdotally just had one of these die on me. bought it 6 months ago. It has certainly changed my opinion of this brand.
I must be 1 of the lucky one. Will buy again.
I bought their usb c cable, stopped working within a month
I was hoping they bring back 30000mah sale
can you use this as a battery backup for eufy indoor cam? Like connect one end to power outlet and another end to eufy camera all the time? as soon as power outage kicks in, the camera will still working.
Thank you
My suggestion is to get a UPS. Powerbank battery ia not made for continous power input. It will in fact kill the battery faster. Use the right tool for the right purpose.
You will see minor long term battery degradation because the battery remains near full voltage all the time. But it is unlikely to cause noticeable capacity loss in any sort of reasonable timeframe. It's the same as if you keep the power bank charged up between uses.
For a power bank that actually supports pass through charging, (the Baseus 22.5W ones do not, but the 65W one does) there is no other issue caused. The power bank works like a hub, and negotiates where the power goes each time something is plugged in or out. The battery takes what it needs to charge, but is not discharged unless the charging stops. If the discharge rate exceeds the charge rate during pass through, the power bank disconnects all the inputs and outputs and renegotiates.
The downside is this means for UPS style use, the camera will generally lose power for a second, depending on the power bank and exact setup.
The specs don't say if the 22.5W model supports pass through charging, so I would assume it does not.
The 65W model does support pass through charging, and is about $55 from that same eBay listing.
I have not tested this 65W one - only the 30,000 mAh model. The cheapest power bank that supports pass through charging I know off hand is $26.75 for a Charmast 10,000mAh model. (with a 15% coupon)
https://www.amazon.com.au/Charmast-10000mah-Portable-Powerba…
Keep in mind when the power bank loses power (blackout) then it cycles all the ports off, then back on. So the camera will lose power for a second and have to turn back on. The same applies for when the power is restored. So you camera will reboot each time.
In my testing (I have this power bank) you need to charge the power bank at 5V for it to work in your case. It can be charged via the USB-C or Micro USB input using a normal USB charger - but not using a charger at 9V.
You need to make sure the charger on the input of the power bank is higher wattage than the output. The Eufy cam is only 6 watts, so easy enough.
You should get 6 to 10 hours of backup from a 10,000 mAh power bank.If you want to avoid the camera rebooting, then the Baseus 65W 30,000 mAh power bank from this deal could suit. It is $69 though.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/777813I have one and have tested it for use as a backup supply and it maintains power output when power is lost to the charger. Even when using higher voltages - I output 12V for a modem.
thanks a lot for explaining, bought 2 of the charmast to try, very much appreciated!
Brand doesn’t seem that good
I will avoidI was going to ask how it stacks up against an anker but I've got my answers. Will avoid.
Superb brand for cables. Power bank, not so much…
any thoughts on this? Thanks
https://zyrontech.com.au/collections/power-banks/products/30…
Zyron products are generally good as long as you get one that works well. But, if you have a problem and report it expect to be ghosted.
No excuses that we failed to meet expectations earlier but we have improved support a lot now with chat function during working hours and a dedicated customer support staff :)
The price makes me want to buy, the massively negative comments sprawled throughout suggests otherwise, would be good if Ankers had bigger bargains, i would be all over that. I have had one for 5 years and its still going strong and holds charge, its been dropped and beat up too lol
I really miss the Xiaomi powerbank deals which used to be very frequent years ago.Now its rarely to be seen.
Got mine from this store:
https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/baseus_officialstore_au
I bought the 65W 20,000 mAh model as it can support fast charging from the USB-C port.
Applied two coupons, so the final price was $54.71
Any idea if it comes with the 65w c to c cable? I tried to find in the descriptions but found nothing.
Did you Ctrl-F and type in cable?
Good price but not good brand. I have a different model, it stopped charging even there were still two and half lights left.
22.5w is ok to charge Samsung Galaxy devices?
Even better? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/313648965957
If you are buying this, be aware that Baseus quality is a bit hit and miss…
Make sure you charge them every now and then just to test that it's still working and not leave it last minute before your travel…

Negging this deal due to degrading quality…
Just be mindful with the warranty for faulted product from Baseus
https://thecodeninja.net/2021/05/never-buy-a-baseus-product/Ordered mine yesterday, and it arrived today :)
My 22.5W version arrived today. Looks to be well built but I'm a bit concerned with all the negative comments that have appeared above.
(Interestingly for Apple users - it includes a lightning port for input charging, which I wasn't expecting).
Arrived today. Why is it so massive and heavy? I used to have a super old Anker 20K, and it was the size of my iPhone
Which model?
The 22.5W Baseus 20k is ~15% smaller volume, but ~19% heavier than (for example) the old Anker PowerCore Essential 18W 20k power bank.
Smaller generally means a metal case rather than plastic, so increased weight is normal.
I bought one of these 20000mAh powerbanks yesterday - final price for me was $29.87.
