Looks to be the cheapest ever price on these alternatives to the T7
Product claims:
Read speeds up to 1050 MB/s
Works with Windows, Mac, iPad Pro, Chromebook, Android, Linux, PS4, and Xbox One with USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and USB-A connectors
Drop proof up to 2m. Extreme-temperature, shock, and vibration proof
This is QLC with 280GB SLC cache (when the SSD is empty so as the SSD is filled, that cache amount will reduce). For more info, read Tom's Hardware review.
QLC write speed is 180MBps. My guess, based on a rough calculation, that's QLC write speed, not the folding write mode (which will be even slower). Basically, if you write close to 1.5GB or more in one go, you will eventually hit the folding write mode, my guess is that it will be half (or maybe even less) of 180MBps. Don't know when the folding write starts (you do get SLC and QLC write first). It's still way better than my el cheap WD Elements SE SSD 480GB, which is super slow in writes.
While T7's TLC write speed is very ordinary, it is still ahead of QLC speed. Basically, T7 is better.
